👏 Angela Rayner: "Nigel Farage's sugar daddies made their money in crypto, but there's nothing cryptic about their motives." ⚠️ "They know full well that a Reform government will act in their interests" 💷 "If Farage will do you a cameo for £70, just ask yourself what he'd do for £ 70 million."

Dolly Parton did all the good she could, for all the people she could, for as long as ever she could. From her legendary songwriting to the Imagination Library—which sent 1 million books a month to children across the country—she was the best of America. Dolly, we'll miss your great heart.

I would like to see a similar ban in the UK

80% of Australians support a complete ban on gambling advertising. It’s time the government got on board. Join the campaign today to call on the federal government to protect young Australians from the predatory gambling industry and free our feeds from gambling ads.

Ask yourself: why does Reform UK want to reduce the minimum wage for people facing increasing debts for food, rent, energy but cut taxes for the superrich who've already more gated mansions, private jets, luxury yachts than anyone needs, and more money than anyone could usefully spend in a lifetime

Isn't it just amazing to have a US president who is so knowledgable about so many things that can even lend his expertise to assure fair play in the World Cup? Infantino is well named. All the backbone of a baby. That makes two of them. Two red cards in order, I think.

On a single short walk home from town my safety was compromised by a powered scooter, a heavy powered cycle and a speeding granny in a mobility scooter. We too need legislation to protect pedestrians from increasing risks from this new class of personal transport vehicles. @greenpartyni.org

They come from behind quickly, quietly and far too close to pedestrians. One badly timed step in a different direction and a collision could occur. This is what happened to me but at a pedestrian crossing no injury ensued. The increased risks are huge and pedestrians will be badly injured.

This is why cities need trees. Hard surfaces and parked cars can reach extreme temperatures, while shaded grass and tree-covered areas stay dramatically cooler. This is the urban heat island effect in one image: hard surfaces absorb and radiate heat, while vegetation and shade reduce it.

Congratulations to Alexander Browder on being awarded Russia's highest honour - sanctioned for exposing Russian corruption. Stepping very well into the enormous shoes of his father Bill. Chapeau les deux.

For years, right-wing scaremongers claimed rejoining the EU meant being forced into Schengen and adopting the euro. Now, Michel Barnier drops the ultimate truth bomb: the UK could reclaim its exact special pre-Brexit exemptions. What's the excuse for managed decline now? 🤡🎪👇

For 30yrs of the Troubles, white men brutally murdered white men & women in Belfast and beyond. Every paramilitary murder driven by hatred, profit and power - not colour. Don't buy the lie put out by those carrying the mantle of those very same perpetrators. Murder is not caused by immigration.

Keir Starmer has to go. The UK needs an inspiring plan voiced by an inspiring leader. Let us acknowledge Keir for getting Labour elected but let us now create a real social democracy offering to inspire the electorate with the honesty and challenge that will sideline Farage.

There's a special place reserved in Hell for hacks and apologists who attempt to explain the verbal dribblings of Donald Trump. Trump is insane and dangerous. It's that simple. Call it out.

Trump has reached a new low in my already established hatred for his outrageous condemnation of the UK for not immediately rolling over to join him in his ill considered misadventure in Iran. How can such stupidity be allowed to stay in such a dangerous place as POTUS? Do Americans really want this?
