Meet four Texas Courage Candidates who have pledged to support impeachment: ⭐ Evan Hunt | TX-03 ⭐ Jason Pearce | TX-04 ⭐ Chelsey Hockett | TX-05 ⭐ Danny Minton | TX-06 Four districts, different backgrounds, and a shared position on constitutional accountability. #TeamCourage

Leadership isn't huddling with the herd and hoping nobody gets singled out. On the *What's Left* podcast, the conversation turns to Congress, political self-preservation, and the courage required to lead. When an oath to the Constitution conflicts with reelection, which comes first?

“In the Bluegrass State, everything is possible.” Courage Candidate Megan Wingfield (KY-02) talks about basic human rights, standing together, and challenging the idea that meaningful change is impossible. Her message is rooted in Kentucky's unbridled spirit. #TeamCourage

“How are we going to pay for it? We already are.” Lindsay Rubia Garcia (LA-06) discusses Medicare for All, ACA subsidies, and long-term healthcare reform. 🗳️ Louisiana's congressional primary is November 3, with a December 5 runoff if needed. #TeamCourage

Mayors and governors have described federal actions against U.S. cities as a war or invasion. But Congress holds the constitutional power of impeachment. In Part 3 of our treason series, we examine the argument for congressional action and accountability. #CitizensImpeachment

“Democracies do not collapse in one dramatic moment. They erode when institutions refuse to act.” Elizabeth Lee (AZ-05) discusses her commitment to impeachment and constitutional accountability. Her message: It's not about party. It's about the oath. #TeamCourage

What does impeachment have to do with affordability, SNAP benefits, and the cost of living? More than you might think. We've been connecting everyday concerns to executive power, corruption, and constitutional accountability. These aren't separate conversations. #CitizensImpeachment

Welcome to #TeamCourage, Gay Valimont! 💙 Gay is running for the U.S. House in Florida’s 1st District, and she’s a YES to impeach. We need leaders with the courage to hold power accountable. 🗳️ Election Day: Nov. 3 #YesToImpeach #FL01

“We can do both.” Courage for Democracy PAC has 25 candidates in the general election. We're engaged in electoral politics AND pushing for congressional accountability and impeachment. These efforts aren't mutually exclusive. Why should anyone have to choose? #CourageForDemocracy

Robert People won his FL-15 primary by campaigning his way: listening, connecting, and taking time with voters. Now he's speaking openly about impeachment and accountability, even before audiences that may disagree. That's the moment we're highlighting. #TeamCourage

No Kings. Now what? Protests bring people together. But what happens when everyone goes home? Town halls. District offices. Local organizing. Sustained pressure on Congress. The work doesn't end when the signs come down. What's your community doing next? #NoKings #CitizensImpeachment

Five generations of Angela Gonzalez Torres's family have called CA-34 home. A longtime community organizer and daughter of a deportee, Angela discusses ICE enforcement, her work in Los Angeles, and her challenge to incumbent Jimmy Gomez. Who does Congress represent? #TeamCourage

Elizabeth Lee is the candidate that reminds us that we can have mutual respect for one another. We can come back from what is happening right now in the administration, but we have to rebuild it. Vote Elizabeth Lee, AZ-05, who will get it done and help bring our Congress back to a place of respect

Steven Fuller, Courage looks good on you! Help us welcome Steven to #teamcourage. Steven is running for the U.S. House in Colorado's 5th District, and if elected, he will vote YES on impeachment. #TeamCourage candidates know the House has a responsibility to stand up and say: this is unacceptable.

Kelly Esti is #TeamCourage. 💙 Running for the House in Georgia’s 8th District, Kelly is committed to voting YES on impeachment. Accountability isn’t optional, and neither is courage. #GA08 #VoteForCourage #TeamCourage #GA08 #VoteForCourage #DemocracyDoesntDefendItself

AIPAC spent $22M in Illinois to punish candidates who stand up for human rights. In 2024, CA-34 was the only general election they targeted, spending $2M+ to save Jimmy Gomez. We’re not for sale. Let’s abolish super PACs. 💜 #CA34 #RejectAIPAC

“I believe you when you say you're suffering and can't afford life.” Elizabeth Lee, running for Congress in AZ-05, talks about the American Dream, the cost of living, and finding common ground across party lines. We may have more in common than you think. Vote Nov 3.

We've seen it time and time again. Democrats refusing to take a stand. Rep. Al Green showed what one member of Congress can do by introducing articles of impeachment and forcing the vote. Accountability doesn't begin with unanimous agreement. It's one person refusing to let the issue disappear.

Meet the pets of Courage for Democracy. You may have noticed that Pancake pops up on a lot of our posts. He's basically our mascot, because he reminds us of what courage is. Courage for Democracy is made up of real people, all of us your average citizens, fighting for accountability.

Accountability isn't a favor you do for voters, it's the job. You heard that directly from Mike Croley, for TN-06. You want a candidate who SHOWS UP and does their job. Your vote matters!

“The progressive movement so many are looking for already exists, and it’s being led by us, the people, not corporations.” Meet Angela Gonzalez Torres, Courage Candidate for CA-34. Her message: Dignity for all. Accountability always. A government that works for the people. #TeamCourage

After a year of petitioning Congress to act, Citizens Impeachment took a different approach: finding candidates willing to advance impeachment themselves. Kieara Havens explains how Courage for Democracy began and why congressional accountability matters. #CourageForDemocracy

Courage looks good on Beth Farnham! A mom and former school board member, Beth is challenging incumbent John Joyce in PA-13. She's holding town halls, fighting for working families, and pledging to support impeachment.Accountability isn't optional. Neither is defending the Constitution. #TeamCourage

Angelica Dueñas is running for Congress in CA 29, and she’s clear about her commitment. Support impeachment. Join the Courage Caucus. Defend the Constitution, even when it isn’t politically convenient. She’s not running to protect politicians. She’s running to protect our democracy. #TeamCourage

Primaries are over, but did you even know they were happening? 80% of Americans don’t vote in primaries. How did you get engaged this year, and what would’ve helped you connect with candidates? Tell us below 👇 Louisiana: your U.S. House primary is still ahead on Nov. 3! 🗳️ @flareusa.bsky.social

“Impeach him for what?” Where would you like us to start? There isn’t one reason. There are SO many reasons to impeach. Congress doesn’t get to shrug and look away. They swore an oath to defend the Constitution. For what? Dial in. We’ve got a list. 👀 #Impeachment #DefendTheConstitution

“But he’s already been impeached twice. What’s the point?” If you get two speeding tickets and beat them both, you don’t get a free pass next time. Impeachment puts alleged abuses on the record and requires Congress to exercise its constitutional role. That oath doesn’t have a two strike limit.

Courage Candidates like Elizabeth Lee show up. They talk to voters. They make the case. They fight for what they believe in. That’s what makes a candidate viable. Small d democracy works when voters get real choices. More on how we want democracy to work: buff.ly/xdrqJmu

Do you have a Courage Candidate on your ballot? 👀 Evan Hunt, TX 03 Chelsey Hockett, TX 05 Danny Minton, TX 06 Drop your Courage Candidate below. Or tag a candidate you think should join #TeamCourage. 📣 #CourageForDemocracy

Keira knows the importance of upholding your oath. “Trump and his enablers must face consequences for their abuses of power, full stop.” Read Keira’s full letter on the Chicago Sun Times here: buff.ly/4Gn54Zi #duckworth #impeach #accountability #defenddemocracy #veteran

Break a pipe? Call a plumber. 🔧 Break a leg? Call a doctor. 🩺 Government broken? Doug Chapin says it might be time to hire a policy nerd. 🤓 Meet Doug Chapin, running for Congress in MN-06 and bringing years of public policy experience to the job.

Courage Candidates show up. Kristi Burke is challenging Rep. Diana Harshbarger to do the same. Show up. Stand on the same stage. Answer the questions. Debate the person running to replace you. The people of TN-01 deserve to hear from both candidates. The invitation is open. #CourageCandidates

Members of Congress swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution. Not the party. Not their donors. Not their political careers. Congress already has the constitutional power of impeachment. The question is whether enough members have the courage to use it.

No corporate PAC money. No AIPAC money. No working for the 1%. Victoria Broderick says when she gets to Congress, she’ll work for the people. Getting money out of politics isn’t just a campaign slogan. Her grassroots campaign is putting it into practice now. TN-04 | Courage Candidate

Impeachment isn’t only about removing someone from office. Conviction can also lead to disqualification from holding federal office again. Accountability has to mean consequences, especially when members of this administration may have ambitions for 2028. Impeach. Convict. Remove.

Imagine spending months lobbying members of Congress just to convince them to do their jobs. That’s what we’ve been doing. If Congress won’t defend democracy, we need people in Congress who will. That’s why we’re working to replace them.

If these issues are important to you, vote out the incumbents. We can't keep giving these incumbents their jobs back after they are going against the things we want. These incumbents have challengers ON the November ballot who are ready to take a stand on these issues. All YOU have to do is vote.
