I made too many invite codes for what my PDS can probably handle, but here is a page for the 20 available: astronomi.ca/codes. I only need one person to successfully sign-up to see if the codes disappear after they get used. I could do it myself, but I have too many accounts and wanna test things.

I have a player for live.cosm.blue hosted at astronomi.ca/radio now and radio.cosm.blue now links to there. Hosting it alongside on my PDS's server and have a button for it right on astronomi.ca. cosmeffect.com/radio still works too, but it's nice to avoid the third-party embed for it.

Tomorrow will be better

We report: the moon will be full in a few hours, but it is not yet the bright floodlight that we are used to on clearer nights. Although the cloud cover is thin, it still manages to dim the moonlight. In a way, we feel grateful; it is easier to observe the craters like this.

My old apartment is about a block away from where I am now. Walking outside earlier, I could smell the smell that has been lingering on the stuff I got out of there (circled in the photo). Odd sensation

My going away present for Bean and Jag, two of my three roomies for the past three months, is a water fountain, since they love to drink from the tap so much. Here is Jag taking the first lap of the water, with Bean seeing that it's not so scary.

I need a couch sooner than later. I just have my bed to rest on and I was out shopping three times today to get all I need. My internet is getting installed tomorrow, so it worked out, but I could use a bit more rest now that I have the comfort of having my own abode again.

The new place so far

I got the keys and moved all my stuff into the new apartment today! I'm already sleeping here tonight and internet should be installed on Thursday. I still need a new couch, TV, TV stand, and maybe a few more things. Digging the new digs.

Found the CD of this at the local bookstore recently. They had most of the Big Shiny Tunes albums there. I should get what they have left next time I'm there.

Bought this art from @sidvicious.ca for my brother some time back. It's hanging in the room he let me in stay for the past few months. Today's the last day I'll be sharing a room with the Flanders Devil, so this @therealjims.bsky.social video is quite relevant to me today.

It's interesting how the new apartment I'll have is just down the road from my last one and watched it get built in the last 18 months. It's coincidental that they're accepting applications right when I lost the other place. Now, I can watch from there as the old building gets rebuilt from the fire.
