Trump is trying to force Ukraine's surrender. That would be a tragedy and a huge strategic error. I'll be damned if it happens while I have anything to say about it.

Today would be a good day to lower the cost of health care by reversing Trump’s Medicaid cuts and bringing back the ACA tax credits that kept care affordable for millions of Americans.

Trump’s reckless war with Iran is costing the average American household at least $1,200, with no end in sight. How much longer will Trump make Americans foot the bill for his own mistakes?

A military-grade weapon designed to inflict intense pain has no place in immigration enforcement, and the Pentagon has no business testing weapons for this purpose. Secretary Hegseth needs to explain why the military is using resources on American streets.

Trump's Department of War has reportedly authorized the DHS to test using a heat ray that burns human skin at the southern border.

Artificial intelligence has enormous potential to improve our lives, but Americans cannot simply trust that technology companies will police themselves. When companies ask us to trust them, my response is simple: Show us.

Putin is a killer and a thug, murdering Ukrainian children, dropping bombs on neighborhoods, and tearing families apart. Calling him a humanitarian is like calling Witkoff qualified or capable of doing this job. What are we doing here?

Top Trump Aide Steve Witkoff, to Vladimir Putin: "You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. I salute you, and I commend you."

Whether Elon Musk disrupted Starlink on his own or after talking with Trump, Ukrainian civilians, including children, are paying the price. I’m demanding answers.

Elon Musk shouldn’t have the power to influence the outcome of a war with the flip of a switch. Yet he and Trump seem determined to put their finger on the scale for Putin.

Starlink is a key lifeline for Ukraine. Now, its service has been slowed, making it harder for Ukrainians to defend themselves against Russian attacks. We need answers from the Trump administration. Putin’s aggression shouldn’t be rewarded while Ukrainians pay the price.

Let's be really clear about what's happening: Trump is rolling over to give Putin what he wants, from easing sanctions to fund the Russian war machine to blocking Ukrainian access to critical technology for Ukraine’s defense.

All of this makes it so Putin can kill more Ukrainian civilians, including children, and Trump can pretend he's getting closer to a deal. I’m glad to see some of my Republican colleagues calling out Trump's dangerous appeasement of Putin. We must do more.

This is horrific. The cruelty of Trump's immigration agenda has led to at least 47 people dying in ICE custody under this administration. We urgently need increased oversight and accountability for Trump's immigration enforcement, including ICE.

Tracy and her wife saw their health insurance premiums jump 268%, forcing them to choose between paying $3K a month or taking a chance on a plan with a $24K deductible. Days later, an ER visit left them with a massive bill.

Trump is weaponizing our justice system to interfere in free and fair elections: targeting his political opponents, pressuring states to hand over voter rolls, and sending his Attorney General to campaign for Republicans.

I hear Delawareans repeatedly say they need more quality housing. That's why I helped champion the Choice in Affordable Housing Act, which became law earlier this year and will soon help more Delawareans get into safe, quality homes they can call their own.

As Trump continues to bend to Putin, he is putting Ukraine at greater risk in its fight for freedom by restricting access to the technology Ukraine uses to intercept Russian missile attacks, putting untold Ukrainian lives at risk and undermining Ukraine’s ability to defend itself.

There can be no talks about Ukraine’s future without Ukraine at the table, and there can be no real negotiations as long as Trump signals weakness and servitude to Xi and Putin at every opportunity.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has proposed that he, President Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping meet next month to attempt to negotiate an end to the war in Ukraine that would favor Moscow, said people familiar with the discussions.

Trump’s appeasement of Putin is a vile betrayal. It makes us less safe, undermines our values and Ukraine’s fight for freedom, and goes against the overwhelming will of the American people. Congress will demand answers.

This is appalling. There must be swift justice and accountability for perpetrators of violent extremism in the West Bank, which stands in the way of regional peace and is escalating an already unpredictable and dangerous situation.

Dozens of masked Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villagers trying to gather their autumn olive harvest. Heidi Levine, a veteran photographer for The Post, was also knocked her to the ground, kicked repeatedly and stripped of her camera and phone.

Today is World Food Day, but across the country, millions of people are losing access to food assistance. SNAP participation has fallen to its lowest level in nearly two decades, even as food prices remain high.

Trump and Republicans’ cuts to SNAP are making it harder for families, including here in Delaware, to put food on the table. I’ll always fight to protect SNAP and the families who depend on it.

I’m deeply disturbed by the plot targeting a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois. White supremacist violence threatens the values that define our democracy and has no place in our society. I stand with the Hindu-American community and all those targeted for their faith.

Imagine telling families struggling to put food on the table and pay their bills to take inflation with a “grain of salt.”

Senior Trump econ advisor begs people to take today's high inflation report "with a grain of salt"

The Social Security benefits earned through a lifetime of work are a crucial part of a dignified retirement for tens of millions of Americans—but too many in Congress want to cut or cap their payouts. I'll always protect Social Security and make sure older Delawareans get the benefits they earned.

Lifting sanctions on Russian diesel will do next to nothing to lower fuel costs for American families, but it will help fund Putin's war of aggression against Ukraine and damage our standing in the world. I joined my bipartisan colleagues in urging President Trump to rescind this deal.

Pope Leo is in my prayers, as are the more than a billion around the world who look to him for spiritual guidance, strength, and healing.

Ukraine agreed to the energy ceasefire. Russia broke it just two hours later. So why is Trump pointing fingers at Ukraine instead of telling Putin to stop attacking Ukrainian civilians and critical infrastructure?

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Q: Russia hit 6 energy sites yesterday. What evidence do you have-- TRUMP: Well, Ukraine hit many sites the day before

You shouldn’t have to choose between paying for your prescriptions and paying your other bills. Democrats lowered the cost of prescription drugs for tens of millions of Americans, and I'll keep fighting to do it again. You deserve nothing less.

This Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor the history, culture, and contributions of Native communities across our country. We have a responsibility to make sure Native communities have a seat at the table as we work toward a stronger future for all Americans.

Lifting sanctions against Russian diesel as they step up their attacks on Ukraine again shows there are no values underlying Trump’s foreign policy and there’s no limit to what he’s willing to do to help his political prospects.

“As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked.” – Eze 33:11 I support punishment for the evil acts of Nidal Malik Hasan, but broadcasting his execution as televised entertainment is simply wrong.

Our elections are safe, and state and local election officials are more than capable of ensuring everyone's vote is counted fairly. They don't need the federal government stoking fear.
