There's a trend in artist alleys lately to get custom covers made for your table when you close for a night, usually with something memey.
I got two printed recently, relevant to my interests, and hopefully one person will be like "that guy has good taste" when I cover my table with them.
The funnest thing about preparing for artist alleys is making things you want to see. In my case it's just making more Panel De Pon things, so made this photocard holder.

I'll actually be selling at an artist alley(s) this year instead of just wandering them and trading with pals, wa-hey!
As my changed title says, I'm in for Toronto Game Expo and Anime Revolution in November, so if you're in the Toronto area and going to these, please come buy my art blease
Reuploading this Magical Girl Vivian sticker sheet I did uhhh 2 years ago because Vivian is a much cooler, healthier witch to draw fanart of, IMO.

Last time I flipped my N64 on was for DK64 and it's currently in a state of glitchiness that keeps sending me back to the intro. Some of my old Gameboy/GBC games have long since lost their watch battery charges saves. I need to make some time to check all my old games, see what still works.
At least my Gamecube memory card still works fine, and my SNES puzzle games are all still in great shape, but this creeping thought of "my physical collection will eventually expire" means I better play with the collection again lol
All done with my belated ArtFight cotton doll chibis! It was a lot of fun to draw many different OCs and figure out how to translate each one to a cotton doll form!
Thank you everyone that followed me on ArtFight, and sorry I'm so late! 🎨🖌️

A lined and coloured version of a drawing I sent to @penbee.art earlier! Miracle is such a kind and wonderful artist and I need to draw Quill much much much more!

Now that Anime North has passed, probably should post the completed piece here! I was commissioned to make the promo art for the Touhou Photoshoot at AN.
Rrl happy with the end result, especially once it all printed! Even sported one of the pins in a Touhou themed ita bag insert!

Remilia Scarlet's classic pose from her debut in EoSD, and whenever people draw her doing it, always makes me think she's just showing off her nails.

Remembered I wanted to try getting shaker charms made, and like the plush buttons I got made, it happened because I wanted to make another thing of Whacka.
I just got this little experiment in the mail today, my first shaker charm!

Didn't make the top 20 but I'm still glad I put him together for the contest!
My entry was Toy Man, an air compressor robot!

I usually end up posting the same ol' things when I see things like this so here's another 9 games I like that I wanted to see if this thing had covers for
I'm enjoying that my favourite YT videos are now showing 18-20 years ago in the description box now, time marches on like SMW Mario automatically moving
Doing some Puyo Pop Fever/General Puzzle Game illustrations of Quill inspired by @combotronrobot.bsky.social.
Here are some tests of her doing combo attacks/spells/getting hit by garbage blocks.
I've sold at TCAF before and I would have NEVER been able to do that without the help of my lovely friends. All together, we had a collection of original comic works to make for a great table. The stuff I make by myself, on average, is far more geared towards a comic-con artist alley, fanwork merch.
There's accountability needed from both sides. Artists doing the artist alley circuit should make sure they can be a solid fit for the show in question, and show runners need to judge and curate as best they can.
I'll tackle TCAF someday when I make enough zines to justify having a table there.
On the artist side though, c'mon have some tact. If you apply to a convention with a more centralized theme like indie comics or Transformers or furry, make and sell things for the thing you applied to!
You'll look better for it, and people will get what they came to the show for!

It's not to say that fanwork doesn't have it's place at an indie comics show, a big part of zine culture is making fanwork, fanzines! Thing is, it's an indie-comics show, so if you're tabling there, your first priority should be to make and sell independent comics, not giant IP prints and charms.
We need to make sure we’re directing the frustration at the right people. Most of the responsibility falls on the show organizers more than the artists submitting their applications. It’s the show’s responsibility to curate their vendor/artist alley for the type of show they want.
