open.substack.com/pub/robertli... Really enjoyed talking w/ @codenprose.bsky.social + @createchtivity.bsky.social ab Antimemetics!🥳 Specifically, I loved Dan talking ab how many of social media's big accounts are largely just big organized cabals who have already all coordinated offline! So true!!

Just launched! techtwitter.com

6. My ideal social media experience is if I had a simple BUILT-IN way to filter posts to be only from users w/ only < X followers or 0-1 likes/replies. Idc ab seeing big accounts. I want a "fat middle" on social networks, something to fight power law effects for a more evenly distributed ecosystem.

Loved doing this w/ @codenprose.bsky.social!🥳 Notes: 0. Omg, I ramble A LOT. I apologize! Pls listen to this on 2x.😅 1. Paraphrasing @jay.bsky.team: "Today's [Substack] could be tmr's adversary." Curation's the next big thing. Whoever who builds SS on top of @atproto.com will become a millionaire!

How do I see more tech-focused content around here and less political noise?

What will Substack do with $100M?

Someone tipped me off about a sketchy corner of the internet selling dodgy Windows keys via Reddit and Google. So what did I do? I bought one. Then I mapped how these sites get their traffic. So did the Windows key work or not? Read on: larslofgren.com/windows-key-...

Substack's biggest threat isn't subscription fatigue. It's the winner-take-all dynamic. Sharing my thoughts below. www.hunter.vc/p/paid-newsl...

Every built a $3M business by ignoring the startup playbook. They've created a self-sustaining loop where essays build trust, trust drives product adoption, and products fuel more subscribers. www.hunter.vc/p/the-every-...

Best thing I’ve written in a long time. Will hit the interwebs tomorrow.

Google’s NotebookLM is amazing but the UI/UX feels clunky, especially navigation. Is anyone using something comparable or better?

Excited to finally launch this. Hunter Labs will be my digital playground. As a software engineer and angel investor, I'll share weekly insights from builders and investors. No fluff. No jargon. No recycled opinions. www.hunter.vc/p/welcome-to...

People love AI Software BECAUSE it's non-deterministic, not in spite of it. Fuzziness is a Feature. A lot of these tools feel like slot machines that cost pennies to play and offer an outsized award.

Building in public isn’t dead. People are blown away by Perplexity Deep Research. What’s funny is the “cool” part of it is that it’s simply thinking out loud. It’s showing its work. This is a reminder to show what’s going on behind the scenes. Bring everyone along for the ride.

Rough drafts can be just as or even more beautiful than their final equivalents.

bittersweet news: today is my last day at Bluesky. 💙 i’m very thankful to the team for letting me learn many new things on the job (including React Native). i’m wishing them luck in the improbable — but inevitable — task of making decentralized social media usable and competitive.

December was the highest traffic month for Indie Thinkers thus far, and I've only spent $20 on marketing for an experiment. Excited to invest more in the community in 2025 and help more writers grow organically.

Inspired by @andrei.blue Finally got dark mode setup.

Love it.

Merry Christmas!

I desperately want my discover tab to be more relevant to my interests.
