It’s not much but my experiment of using cat litter to air layer a hornbeam actually worked! You can see the first root peaking through the plastic. Wild. 🌱 #gardening #bonsai

Check out this gorgeous wasp on my Culver's Root. Not quite sure what it is but it was thrilled with the menu options. #gardening #wasp

I’ve had this beech in my front #garden for 4 years and it’s grown maybe 6”. (I think the heavy clay and dry soil is too much.) Anyone have any tips for digging this out and transforming it into a #bonsai? I’ve worked on a few smaller trees but nothing this size.

It’s not particularly stunning or magnificent but I love the understated beauty of this native Midwest #garden. 🌱 Can you name all the natives?

Just saw this poppy near my apartment building, so bright it took my breath away. I immediately took a photo. that’s when memory came in: mom loved to send me photos like this of flowers she took , it was her way of saying hi, felt lame to me when I was younger, now

@jamesreeves.co I've been listening with Spite on MacOS for a few days and I'm loving it. I don't quite follow how I'm supposed to use it on my iOS device as well - should I be keeping my local music files in an iCloud folder - and then pointing my iOS installation of Spite to that folder? Thanks!

Quiche Browser's upcoming gestures feel so alive, you can open a tab, catch it mid-flight, and swipe it away before it's even finished opening! Try the same in Chrome: toolbar buttons don't even work until the opening animation has finished 🫠

Trying something new this year with potted dahlias in the #garden. Hoping I can save the tubers over winter this time around. 😂 #gardening 🌱

Bringing you a calm and peaceful misty morning scene from my local landscape for today's #BlueSkyArtShow theme of #Morning 📷 🤍 Have a good day everyone!👋 🕊️ #Photography #Nature #LandscapePhotography #ECK

One of my favorite recent finds - dwarf crested irises. Apparently native to the Midwest US. A lovely sight in early spring. #gardening 🌱

@hicks.design A few weeks ago, your article on how the perfect music app doesn't exist sent me down a long rabbit hole that now involves using the beta Qobuz app and testing custom theming. IMO as long as you don't need playlist folders, Qobuz seems like by far the best option. Many thanks :D

3 years after growing these ginkgos from seed I figured I may as well pot them up. This take out container seemed convincing enough as a starter pot for this little #bonsai forest. 😂 🌱

Anemonoides nemorosa, the wood anemone, is starting to bloom in my aunt’s garden. I remember going into the woods as a child around Easter and they were just everywhere. #nostalgia #bloomscrolling #flowers #spring #springflowers #buschwindröschen

Dreaming of warmer days while I'm wrapped in a heated blanket at my desk. 😆 Here's a wildflower garden I had a few years ago 🌱. I used a premade seed mix that year but there were some non-native plants included. Trying again this year with all native wildflowers. #bloomscrolling #garden #flowers
