Canadian Animator on various shows, I love forests, board games, and painting. AI sucks and you shouldn't use it.

It's weird how I practice figure drawing every day but those skills seem to dissolve into nothingness the moment I try to apply them to digital art.

Little bit different but I've been enjoying some 40K recently. Having stepped down from England Captaincy I suddenly had a lot more time! Over the last 3 weeks I have painted 5k points of 40K! Had a blast painting! Not the best painter but just tried to match box art and get them on table ASAP!

Plaster those "100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes!" blurbs on every piece of marketing you can find and bump those numbers up even more, let's make this HAPPEN.

LAIKA’s ‘Wildwood’ is tracking a $15-20M domestic box office debut after a skyrocket of pre-sale tickets. This will potentially make LAIKA’s biggest opening weekend ever. (Source: @GlobalBoxOffice on X)

I did years of playing the role of the family diplomat that came to a head this year when I actually told them what all the problems were when they said they wanted to know. I got an angry response yesterday that was partially gaslighting and mostly just saying I should grow up/be less sensitive.

When I talk about my childhood to people with normal families they are generally horrified and apologetic. It's some sort of shock to abusive parents when children decide they dont want to continue relationships, when the real truth is that being around them is an emotional service to the parent

People aren't always missing out on a parents love, being around them can make the child uncomfortable. If the parent doesn't want the child to feel uncomfortable they need to actually change as people. It's not the child's job to forgive the cruelty done to them.

It's tough making friends in different communities where it's clear that hobby is like the one thing they do. I want to participate but dont want to put off all the other hobbies I have to do it. 😅

I'd really like the AI bubble to pop already and crash the economy so we can get this shit over with and back on track. It's extremely pathetic to see everything stagnate while they keep aura farming with increasingly low returns.

Joined a warhammer escalation league to finish up my Admech army. 500 points of is feeling pretty swarmy. Running the heresy models as hastari. #minipainting #wh40k #40k #mechanicum

Cawl is ready to lead! Quite happy with how he turned out, he's been one of my favorite models in the game so excited to have him finally painted. #minipainting #warhammer #warhammer40K #40k #wh40k #admech

The new hastarii also means the addition of a "heavy skitarii infantry" unit type to the army, so there's a few previous minis I made that I can work into my admech alongside my conversions of the official models
