The corruption of this president is staggering. No public official should get rich off insider information—which is why I continue to support a stock trading ban on the President, Vice President, and Members of Congress.

Steve Rattner@steverattner.bsky.social

Trump has made more stock trades in his second term than all 535 members of Congress combined.

In 2022, Democrats enacted the Solar For All program to slash utility bills, boost American manufacturing, and create clean energy jobs. After two federal courts found the Trump administration is illegally blocking the program, Sen. Sanders, Rep. Fletcher, & I are demanding the program be restored.

Kids can't learn when they're hungry. Yet President Trump and Republicans in Congress thought it was more important to deliver tax cuts for the ultrawealthy.

Due to last year’s Republican-led budget reconciliation bill, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is undergoing the deepest funding cuts in the program’s history and tighter eligibility rules.

American families want Congress to take action that will lower health care costs. But rather than investing in health care for working-class families, Republicans have made historic cuts to health care programs in order to finance more tax cuts for the wealthiest 1%. time.com/article/2026...

Since Trump took office and Republicans took control of Congress, the average household has paid an additional $4,700 for goods and services due to rising costs. Whether it’s the disastrous war in the Middle East or the costly tariff taxes driving up costs, Republicans are making life harder.

The president promised to lower costs on day one. But after nearly two years in office, the policies of the Trump administration and Republicans in Congress have led to higher inflation, higher fuel prices, higher unemployment, and higher mortgage rates. A complete failure.

The president is either delusional or lying to the American people. Since he launched the disastrous war in the Middle East, supported by Republicans in Congress, the cost of everything from gas to groceries has skyrocketed. And hardworking families are paying the price.
