I am telling you my very honest belief that I no longer understand what Democrats stand for. I feel quite strongly they put corporate interests over their constituents. And this sort of behavior tells me they think what matters is the magic words that get them elected. I'm tired of it.

Democrats may think they are softening the message when they say things like "Abolish Trump's ICE" but this is a mistake. The qualifier of "Trump's" shows a deflection of Dem responsibility for perpetuating this agency and funding it.

A strong trade union movement improves the standard of living for all people. There is a reason why we are the only major country not to guarantee health care for all or have paid family and medical leave. We must grow the trade union movement in the United States.

Understanding our cognitive shortcomings is one of the things that helps facilitate us working around them for fucks sake. So many people learn about a fallacy and then start pointing the finger and saying "it couldn't be me" and that's kinda what happens with not believing in God.

It's a source of profound and sustained grieving to believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and afforded opportunity—and to know how many here simply do not share that belief.

If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.

The Dept. of Education is key to an education system that helps to prepare young people for today’s world and sets them up for success. Any attempt to eliminate it puts the needs and education of 50 million students at risk and harms them and their futures.
