Ah, just now I heard someone on NPR taking about voters who are "right of center," as opposed to right-wingers--which is obviously what they are.

So were Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder just like, "Hey, we should do a project together!" "Yeah, totally! But what possible topic would justify it? Hold on, I'm getting a call from an E. Holmes, I guess I'll take it . . ."

God, it's dumber than I thought it would be. The whole characters-you-like-get-killed thing only works when the reasons make sense.

Here, helping out the folks in the publicity department cause that's the kind of nice guy I am

A ‘GLEE’ reboot series is in the works at Disney+ (via deadline.com/2026/10/glee...)

It's very frustrating to be building an incredible property in Tentpole, just a perfect, stellar cast for your R-rated war-set revenge thriller only to get stuck with Brett Ratner as a director.

Always happy to see the Crosset Man in Scotland and he deserved better than getting murdered before the opening credits of the first episode!

I'll let you off here, in the middle of a vast field, and turn around to drive straight into our pursuers a hundred yards back, and they'll have no idea where you disappeared to!

I always love the Scaramucci phase of a Trump presidency, when the turnover of inept bozos in the White House really starts to pick up speed

Trump having to publicly back down on the televised-execution thing means Pete Hegseth ought to start looking for a new job pronto.

My theory is that one time, decades or even centuries ago, one guy, making his way through a crowded marketplace, slipped on a discarded banana peel and everyone who who saw it thought it was the funniest thing ever and told all everyone they know about it, and . . .

Problem is the bullets are just going to bounce off ol' Non here

The Pentagon says the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan will be livestreamed after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the execution would be "public. n.pr/4hNSlSu

Made the life-affirming decision to simply block anyone who posts to commemorate a famous person's birthday with the phrase "X number of candles today for . . ."

Maybe you, like me, chose not to see The Breadwinner--the Nate Bargatze movie--in the theater because it looked painfully retrograde, but if you, like me, have an 8-year-old in the house you might see it on tv now and you, like me, will realize that it's even worse than you imagined.

I'm quite aware that nobody does any proofreading in academic publishing anymore, but I guess they've given up on it in trade circles as well?

Avengers: Doomsday releases in a couple of months, and I've never seen my 15-year-old more excited about getting advance tickets for a movie. Sorry--those two statements are unrelated. The movie he's pumped to see tomorrow night is Primetime. I feel like I've done a good job.

Why does this building look like a big shark? Shouldn't that have been reserved for the Spielberg Museum?

New museum in LA, who dis??? Happy opening day, Lucas Museum of Narrative Art!! 🖼️🎞️🎥

Zach Cherry and Paul Walter Hauser are both in the new Resident Evil but this is not good enough for me, I want a movie with the two of them headlining, playing brothers.

Listening to Adam Jentleson on Brian Lehrer, he's got a new book coming out and I've got to assume that if this interview is anything to go by, the book will have the words "y'know" on pretty much every other line.

My policy proposal: There should be no such thing as wills and estates. Give it away while you're alive if you want to, but after you die anything left over should go straight to the Social Security Administration to liquidate and use.

What if instead of causing human extinction, all AI was able to kill off was the internet and we all had to go back to living the way we did 30 years ago.
