Screaming children on a 6am flight to a place where the time is 3am… yaaaaaaaay. 🫠💀

My soap opera's for years now have been X-Men and Formula 1. Though I think I have been leaving one off the list for decades now, Fire Emblem. These games are a soap opera disguised as a tactical game.

Since chatGPT's Dots have launched I have got it to cancel the extremely predatory gym membership and it negotiated a much better internet rate. All I did was give it some basic info and it handled it all for me. 🤯

In this new episode: @chrislawley.me remains the only one of us Apple cares about, @nileane.fr has more browser news than you know what to do with, and @birchtree.me is getting got by the RAMpocalypse. 🎧 www.comfortzone.rocks

I reviewed the M5 Ultra Mac Studio with 256 GB of RAM. It’s the dream Mac for local AI agents. And I’ve gone local-only with Hermes. My story, with LOTS of interactive charts: www.macstories.net/stories/m5-u...

I don't know what changed, but App Store review got really fast. I submitted an update this morning, and it was all approved in about three hours. It was just a minor bug fix update, but still really nice not to have to wait a week.

Parchment on the iPhone Duo isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I do have plans to make it a much nicer experience though. My next app is the one that is in a real rough spot with the Duo. That is going to be a lot of work.

I have the new iPhone 18 Pro and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 in hand. What do you want to know about them? It's going to be a busy video making weekend over here.

My 10th iOS & iPadOS walkthrough is here. This year I touch on Siri AI, changes to both iOS & iPadOS, the system apps, and bunch of really cool touch's. Check it out here: youtu.be/7DJ0e_j30ug

I hate having slow upload speeds. It's coming, just not quickly. 🫠

Also from me today, a new chapter for the Apple Watch starts with watchOS 27. I have all the details on MacStories: www.macstories.net/stories/watc... Next up later today, a special AppStories all about iOS and iPadOS 27.

The first of my two review is up now: macOS Golden Gate: The MacStories Review Enjoy! www.macstories.net/stories/maco...

Of course we also have extras for Club MacStories members: Read about the perks here: www.macstories.net/news/our-os-...

I've been working on this for 3 months, and here it is: My iOS and iPadOS 27 review: www.macstories.net/stories/ios-... Customizable Liquid Glass, iPadOS, 15 system apps, and a big Siri AI chapter. And no, it's not a Snow Leopard release. Enjoy!

First up from me today, Parchment v1.2! This includes support for the OS 27 releases, Siri AI, XL widget, Apple Intelligence features (like extracting actions items from the daily note), attach photos, and A LOT more. Check out Parchment here: apps.apple.com/us/app/parchme...

When App Review approve your update but you find a bug right after. 😠

✅ Parchment update for iOS 27 submitted to App Store review ➡️ Now to finish my iOS and iPadOS 27 Walkthrough

The Duo doesn't have an action button. Bummer.

We are are a year and halfish into the Switch 2 and there a no new heavy hitter Nintendo games. Mostly just remakes. What is happening over there?

Well, let's hope the Apple event is more exciting the then Nintendo one. 🫠

TestFlight is fixed*! I don't believe in god, but this is the kind of thing that could bring me around to believing in the all-mighty Turnes. *I mean it's still TestFlight but at least the order isn't fucked.

I just published a newsletter on Patreon about what I've been working on all summer. It includes updates on my walkthroughs and the four apps I'm working on now, including TestFlight links for two new apps. Check it out here: www.patreon.com/Lawley/posts/...

The Macs announced today have huge potential for those who want to run LLMs locally. These Macs still need to be tested, but Federico has run some numbers that show just how much potential there is: https://www.macstories.net/notes/the-potential-of-m6-and-m5-ultra-for-local-ai-on-macos/

New Video! iOS & iPadOS 27's Hidden Gems 🔗 youtu.be/gyrjCkK6AEA In this one I take a look at the best features you may not know about in iOS & iPadOS 27

I have Parchment v1.0.2 done. I'm just waiting on app store approval. It addresses a ton of bugs and user feedback. So much that I had to increase the resolution of my monitor to take a screenshot. I also put it into the alt text so it's readable. 🔗 Parchment: apps.apple.com/us/app/parchme...
