@nitachicago.bsky.social likely agrees this headline is misleading. Article doesn't say NITA is "urging the advancement" of Metra's NCS Line as an "alternative to O’Hare Flyer." NITA is collecting input on the idea. Forest Park and River Forest folks are "pushing" it. www.oakpark.com/2026/10/26/n...
Headlines: Gage Park Cyclists, LVEJO organize bike rides honoring SW Side crash victims; Ed Zotti: "My colleagues and I would like to propose integrated regional rail."; River Foresters opposed to O’Hare Flyer are pushing for improving Metra NCS Line to airport people mover.

After turning up the volume at 4:25 in this handlebar video, we IDed the 3rd Ward aldermanic challenger who had an across-the-street convo with John while he was riding the new Indiana Avenue protected bike lane: Qushona Harris. (SBC does not endorse candidates.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5eE...

Leave it to @chiwho.bike to create a concise, informative one-minute video about Sunday's "The People's Bridge" party for permanent pedestrianization of Cortland. He even squeezed in a Van Halen-esque guitar solo from the band Paper Cardinal! Here's our coverage: chi.streetsblog.org/2026/10/19/t...

After school drop-off this morning, I found myself in a small fleet of electric cargo bikes. There were five of us together at one point. Every year, more and more parents are ditching the car for the school run. State e-bike rebate programs are such a no-brainer. Wish we had one in Illinois.
