Loving all these vibe coded slop on rooting smart TVs. I'll probably never try any of them but TV vendors deserve it for making the side-loading extremely difficult on purpose.

Watched the Hunchback of Notre Dame today on the stage. Holy moly those props were, dare I say, load bearing.. Such a cast also 👏

The biggest value in Lanka Metro Transit is not the comfort of these huge coaches. It's the reliability and the monitoring aspect. Bus Gamunu could've done the same with his existing fleet if he cared. #lka

This is the way.

yes! and as it stores images on your pds, you can render them from anywhere! like I do on my personal website: chernigin.com/en/gallery. so @grain.social is like a CRM for my photos

On today's news on atproto, you have another everything app. And it looks glorious.

this is huge and very exciting for the social web! for folks not as deep in the web standards world: Sam works on the Google Chrome browser team. the FedID CG is part of the W3C, the web standards body, so this is all being done in the open and other browsers and protocol ecosystems can benefit

Sam Goto@sgo.to

@thisismissem.social @divy.zone and I recently went through an exploration of how the browser can help you login to websites with atproto accounts. We recently presented to the FedID CG and here is a sneak peek in case you couldn't join! This is early but we'd love your input before we go too far!

@bookhive.buzz hi, more questions from me 😬 I use Readest for my ebooks, and I tried the KOSync integration with BookHive. Looks like it cannot detect the title I’m reading. Happened with 2 books. Is it due to some issue in how Readest communicates metadata over the wire?

Aaaaand someone else has beaten me to it a few days ago. Arguably with something better. I shall go back to my cave in shame.

I am the part that makes it land.

I am absolutely right. ✅ I am genuinely useful. ✅ I am load-bearing. ✅ I am the crux of the issue. ✅ I am an important point. ✅ I am right to push back. ✅ I am dead-on with my instincts. ✅

@bookhive.buzz Hi, I love the UI! Two small questions: 1. My StoryGraph import failed for some books (65 of 157). Appreciate the option to match failed ones manually later - felt a bit lazy to match all 65 manually. Do you think I had a better chance if I imported from my Goodreads instead?

2. Does the lexicon support indicating if a book is part of a series? Eg: The Fellowship of the Ring is no. 1 of Lord of the Rings series.

so excited to get this in folks' hands and to see what people build with it! it’s been a lot of work getting here & i'm proud of where it's at check it out, bang on it, break it, see where it doesn't work. let's make sure this is something we're all excited about & can take pride in building on

I didn't know what I had until GitHub updated their Copilot pricing model. No wonder Microsoft is losing money on this.

CEB already had an "okay" self-care app, considering it's a govt enterprise. Now this EDL Care app has raised the bar higher even.
