guys i hate discord but this is super not them making your dms public or whatever. all this does is make 1000+ member public servers searchable. so, you know, all those games you play where you have to join to get information? you may not need to join now

Now this is just a hunch but

Happy 32nd Birthday The First Web Banner! On October 27, 1994, The AT&T Telecommunications Company placed the first web banner in Internet history on the HotWired magazine website. The first web banner in the world was 476×56 px.

One of the biggest parts of truly becoming an adult is being able to see something you find cringe and think "ah this just isn't for me" and move on. So many people are still living in their 14 year old mindset as 20+ year olds

It's even more angering to me when other trans people will see "cringe" trans art and say that it's "setting the community back" or "making us look bad". Actually transphobes are going to hate us no matter what, you're just miserable and want everyone else to hate themselves like you do

I felt I really needed to write about Rowling's essay, not because it's new, but because it's so poisonous and ugly that it felt like sanitizing her not to acknowledge it on my trans news site.

RIP

Knowing languages is truly useful. Not for actually connecting to other human beings though. It's for accessing internet tutorials for a skill that has no tutorials in english

Watching Japanese creatives fall into becoming AI bros feels like watching a zombie outbreak spreading

Yeah this is the more damning part of the interview that the translation kinda glossed over tbh.

Not that I didn't trust the translation, but it was very clearly abridged so I wanted to check the source. Unfortunately, Uchikoshi being an AI bro is very real: www.famitsu.com/article/2026...

do you think somewhere out there there's a guy who plugged their PS5 controller into their PC and said "oh thank god, my video game controller took control of my audio settings"

the other week i was on behemoth to grab an item off the marketboard and bumped into brazillians cheering en masse so i went back there just now and was Not Disappointed.

Congrats to Lula on overcoming Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump to defeat Hospital Pervert Jr., even as his opposition literally blocked off roads and turned off bus service during election day. Fascists are scary but they are always, 100% of the time, ultimately gigantic fucking losers.

2022: This underappreciated fighting game got a fanmade rollback patch 2026: This underappreciated fighting game got a fanmade rollback patch

I told myself I'd play one (1) scary game during October but I keep going to bed before it gets late/proper dark enough to enjoy the atmosphere so I may just have to concede that the spooky game needs to be played in the morning sun

Me, delusional: what if they let us choose the bird (I know they won't) #ffxiv

I was playing a Gen 1 Randomizer, and all the NPC sprites in the Pokemon Tower got replaced with Clefairy, which made the dialogue look really funny.

won two fall guys things in a row! at this rate, I'll have the queen bean title in approximately 20 years.

Glad to see staff is so considerate to newer gamers in advance of the OoT remake. Not everyone has played through the game before, it's a lot harder to spoil the later temples when bluesky is blocking adult Links.

I managed to get it to modify the whole thing lol
