Just wrapped up what has to be the best parent-teacher conferences I've ever had. I have a great slate of kids this year so I just spend 2 evenings gushing to parents about their kids and telling stories of our trips to Shaker Village. Instead of feeling drained I am full of joy.

Have spent an amazing Thanksgiving weekend in Montreal for my anniversary. I did my favorite things. Look at old buildings, eat food food, find cool street art, and take in some live music. Turns out my HS French isn’t as rusty as I thought!

Why? He’s not an expert in labor history. We have well regarded labor historians in this state! We have actual labor organizers who are much better voices for the working class. This is just about name recognition, attendance, and rehabbing his image.

Bought a new notebook today to organize my notes as I enter the next phase of writing this paper. Man has the paper quality gone down. 5 Star? Felt thin and pen would bleed plus weird triangles in the margins. Mead? Shiny and slick. Felt like pref. pen would smudge. Store brand for the win!

Ahh yes, the shower is absolutely where to store my kettle bells. You workout and shower at the same time! So efficient! Storing the electric toothbrushes and shaver in there just makes sense. 😕 😂 It’s so close, yet so far. I don’t expect better of Amazon though.
