Chechula

Hi #portfolioday I am comic artist and illustrator! I love drawing ornaments and silly cartoons :3 open for commission! Closest thing to portfolio: cara.app/chechula ✉chechula@email.cz

Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!

And: toast, ghost, fall, tractor, weird dance, mushroom :3

Collected matchbox labels from a collection of 6,000 in the design archive. designreviewed.com/matchbox-lab... #illustration

Besides Tolktober, I promised other friends to join their drawing challenge for few days. So here are: stairs, circle, rain, movie, bingo, river, pumpkin

Gandalf and hobbit kids :3

Autumn experience.

Went to see the Barbro Nilsson rug exhibit. Extremely good rugs

This train was 1hour late, I got a lot of time for this drawing :D

My friend challenged me to do #tolktober2026 this year. Well.

Cleaning folders, I found this collab with my sister that I still enjoy. We should make whole comic like this :D (this cover was commissioned by a friend :D )

sunday drawing :3

9koma.com mangas I adore... way to many shonens, but I think this list explain a lot about my...own comics ;_;

I am weekly uploading this thing: m.webtoons.com/en/canvas/ca... 4pages weekly, no much planing and thinking before drawing. Only thing that I planned is that there will be big battle one day and then it will end.

randomly remembered art student owl (and these types of memes generally).. and this feels like not only from like a whole different era of the internet (it *was* 15 years ago) but from a whole different era of humanity altogether

♡

"Nanbanjin", a 500-page graphic novel by Taiyou Matsumoto & Cyril Pedrosa. A same story told in turn by these two great artists from Japan and France. International editions (JP/FR/IT) >> www.catsuka.com/shopping/ind...

Cleaning my files, I’ve realized my best comics are… ones based on wild idea, that I drew in one go? This one I made in three days, here is the whole thing: smacmag.net/v/sma12/crac...

sketches from my last year's visit to London ♥

Look at Joanna beautiful textures! *_* (works also with synthehic water-resistant paint...like: I was making textured paper as side project while paiting old garden fence :D )

Cleaning up my google disk I found some RUR cover variations I've made years ago :D (no one of these was used :D )

One more mermaid, washing her painful legs (Is it in the original version that each step on the ground was cutting pain for her? Well, it was in the version I’ve read as a child )
