Karen Czap

Hi Bluesky, I'm Karen, sometimes working professionally as K Czap. My two books are the queer utopian mixtape that is Fütchi Perf (Uncivilized Books, 2017) and Four Years (Czap Books, 2024), a comic that tries to cure trauma with friendship. I like making work about friendship and transcendence

The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein TPB (Dark Horse) is open for pre-orders wherever you get your books, and you know how important pre-order numbers are! The whole team has crafted an amazing book, a love letter to the genre and the medium of comic books.

In my latest reel promoting Fox River Comics Camp, I am gently shady to writers www.instagram.com/reel/De7dHK3...

Me. You. Alone. Midnight. Are Spider-Man's background scenes stronger than the art? Can comics do addiction? Will Hickman breathe life into dead X-vamp concept? You're my guest as we yell "HELLO?" down the dark corridor that is the Midnight universe. pod.fo/e/6d9c4d

My 10yo got around 4 pages into your book before announcing that it was the best comic they've ever read! Then proceeded to make a character sheet immediately after they finished it. 💖

Here's the last full-length vid I filmed, this one is a kid's art activity, and it's labeled as such, meaning it will be suppressed by the algo. BUTTT it's more important to me to make sure there's at least one video educators can feel comfortable playing and it won't launch into a weird ad etc

good morning did you read this yettt 👀
