First day back after 3 weeks and I couldn't sleep last night 😆 always the way.

It's weird because I was feeling burnt out and stressed for a while but the last week I've had a wave of calm over me and it's not like the stressors have gone. Unless social media limiting has helped 🤔

Our dog became allergic to everything we were feeding her (licking and scratching). We didn't want to keep her on meds so we switched her to insect food. It's worked wonders!

I normally don't mind writing tests but django tests are really annoying and take more time to write than the feature itself 😬

Working on being strong while I can. I know it's a privilege to be able to do what I do.

It has felt really nice & peaceful disconnecting from social media for a while. Highly recommend ScreenZen because it really makes you aware of how often you open apps.

Well, we gave purely using server fetching in Next.js a try but I finally added React Query today. The performance was just SO painfully slow when using url search params for filtering. I tried everything.

I've decided to go on a social media detox. Honestly I'm finding myself checking too often and it's taking a toll on my mental health recently. Take care everyone. I'll be back 🥰

People without kids but who want them. Have you started questioning recently if it's selfish to bring them into this world? Part of me thinks that we need empathetic, well brought up children for the future but mostly I worry about what they've got ahead of them.
