There's a lot of internet ragebait in the RS top rock songs list, but the biggest offender to me is Hangover Game as the token MJ Lenderman entry. Knockin' is unquestionably his signature tune. www.rollingstone.com/music/music-...

I don't know how you can look at a company poised to make billions off AI cutting 1/4 of it's workforce as anything but horrible news for the rest of us.

Anthropic is going to make a boatload of money because the tech is useful (I hate this fact too guys). This tech will also destroy everything you love about being a human being.

It is absolutely impossible too separate the good and bad when it comes to LLMs. There is way more bad than good in them and we will have to live in the shit world they create.

Best we can do is just spend as little time in the fake digital world as we can. "Touch grass" has never been better life advice and will get more true every day.

No. The "most consequential technology in human history" was already invented. It was plumbing.

I'm not saying this as some attack on AI, it's just true. There is nothing resembling modern society without plumbing. We can all survive without AI.

Petty complaint. I am very annoyed that allmusic only gives Big Star's - Radio City a 4.5/5 . It's a five star classic. Their unquestioned best record.

You are up to date.
