We've been hard at work overhauling Warlord Protocol's combat system to include more interaction. And a portion of that also means giving each card type more defined roles within the game. Field Commander is a new addition to Warlord Protocol. The "deploy" keyword is a flavorful replacement for "play." And "exhaust" will be replacing "activate" in the next update. You can either exhaust an Infantry for its ability or to have it attack. To exhaust a card, you rotate it by 90°.

I redesigned the tokens for my deck-building game yesterday. I followed a YouTube tutorial for making realistic metal coins in Photoshop, and I'm very happy with the results :)

I spent the last 6 weeks getting this prototype for Warlord Protocol up to date, and now it's finally ready! The first playtest is this Friday, and I'm very excited to see how the changes I've made play out! Its been way too long since I've had the energy to practice game dev, and it feels amazing
