Pay a “living wage” in the US and no one will be able to afford the products!Meanwhile, errant policies destroy the small businesses that are the backbone of the US economy! Stop before it’s too late! The jobs moved because it cost too much to make in the USA- that HAS NOT CHANGED!

The infrastructure to do this doesn’t exist anymore! The buildings,machinery, expertise, the YEARS it will require to set up, the lack of experience (now retired or in other sectors). Literally it’ll be DECADES & trillions to “recreate” in the US. The “high paid” mfg jobs?? Flat-out fantasy!!

…Fact: the only way many in mfg jobs are making “ends meet” is working 50-60 hrs a wk for OT. Trump’s plan is to return mfg to the US? Where is the labor force coming from?

Does no one realize that US manufacturing has-for years-struggled to fill positions? I worked in mgmt in mfg for 30 years, last 10 years at least 15% of week was on interviews to fill open mfg jobs. We never got a full workforce despite lower expectations…
