Trina Swanson has traveled all over Minnesota's 8th Congressional District this year. She's actually visiting our local communities unlike Pete Stauber.

It was great to talk with #TrinaSwanson, the MN-08 candidate for the Minnesota @dfl.org!!! We talked about her background/decision to run, needing to fix Stauber's healthcare nightmare, not making Canada mad, and the best pasties! #Spotlight Interview! soundcloud.com/am950radio/t...

Tariffs, the war with Iran, and the OBBB health care cuts approved by Pete Stauber and signed by Trump have cost Minnesotans more than $11 billion. Vote for Trina Swanson and bring accountability back to Washington.

Pete Stauber voted to cut Medicaid and is proud of his bill to allow copper-nickel sulfide mining upstream of the Boundary Waters.

Pete Stauber is touting his support for rural healthcare.... after voting for massive Medicaid cuts that caused the issues in the first place. #MN08

Some Cass County residents already have to drive an hour to reach the nearest hospital. The OBBB is threatening to force the closure of rural hospitals. Our healthcare premiums for next year haven already risen. Lisa Demuth is doubling down on these policies with no regard to our well being.

A new poll reveals rural voters’ biggest affordability worries: 🏥 Health care: Trump cut Medicaid through the OBBB, which Lisa Demuth said she was “really grateful” for. 🛒 Food & groceries: Trump's tariff tax costs MN families more than $2,000 a year. Lisa Demuth called the tariffs "effective."

"In 2001, the Minnesota Legislature decided to exempt cabin owners from some local school property taxes. Ever since, money that used to stay in our district has gone to the state instead, becoming another way to pay for state programs." www.parkrapidsenterprise.com/opinion/an-u...

Your ballot may have a referendum for the new Seasonal Recreation Property Tax Base Replacement Aid (STBRA) program this election. This aid program was created to help replace the lost property tax revenue that has left the local school districts since 2001 without increasing your property taxes.

U.S. interest rates and borrowing costs remain elevated because of stubborn inflation, massive government debt, and heavy corporate borrowing. And all of this fall back on Trump's own decisions ...

Pollution doesn’t care about property lines Water travels the watershed through rivers, lakes, and underground, often carrying pollutants to our rivers and lakes, city water systems, and private wells.

Our legislators should care for our community’s health and finances by investing in keeping our water clean, like climate-resilient infrastructure and protection of forests and wetlands. Learn more and get involved with conservation www.casscodfl.org/post/protect...

Mining is an important part of our state’s economy and legacy. We support mining that prioritizes the local workforce, benefits our economy, and protects the environment, but the foreign mining company threatening the Boundary Waters has shown they don’t care about these concerns.

Heavy metals remain in the human body for decades after copper, nickel, and cobalt mining ceases, causing a slew of illnesses. Antofagasta already has a dismal track record of environmental destruction and experts have already warned how this mine will damage us and our home.

We’ve been told this mine will bring prosperity, but did you know we’ll need to ship the metal to Asia for processing since we don’t have the capacity in the U.S? Then we’ll have to buy it back with the Trump tariffs applied.

Lisa Demuth’s health care record consists of blocking prescription drug discounts at the request of Big Pharma lobbyists and rubber stamp support for Donald Trump’s Medicaid cuts. Maybe that’s why she still hasn’t released a health care plan.
