OBAMA: "Trump is focused on enriching himself & his family/friends. A Venezuelan billionaire wanted a pardon, so he paid a Trump lawyers $50 million — and lo & behold! The pardon falls out of the sky... We’ve never seen a president straight-up grifting on your dime like this."

Bernie Sanders: "If you believe as I do that Donald Trump is the most dangerous president in the history of the United States, we need to get rid of that rubber stamp Republican leadership in the House and Senate."

Bernie Sanders: "I know conservative parents want to raise their kids to be honest, not to be bullies, not to lie and cheat all of the time. If we want to raise our kids to be honest, not to be narcissists who think the world revolves around them, then we need to hold Donald Trump accountable."

Hope instead of hate. I miss the good feelings I have every time President Obama speaks. Vote BLUE!!!!!

After the recent Trump rallies, it's a novelty to see a president able to fill a venue again.

Our nation is in grave danger. But across America I’m seeing stirrings of a giant backlash. People rising up and hitting the streets. People getting out the vote. Our fight — for democracy, the rule of law, social and economic justice, and decency — is gaining ground. I believe we will win.

Jared Kushner’s hacked iPhone revealed he promised MBS and MBZ he would push their agenda with Trump if they participated in a secret fund, with the two royals initially discussing over $10B before ultimately placing at least $2B into his accounts. Paywalled, use archive. archive.ph/FHGAt

There's no doubt that @aoc.bsky.social has changed the trajectory of American politics. Grateful to have her with us on the ground across Michigan to strengthen our movement to get money out of politics, put money in pockets, and pass Medicare for All.

Mike Rogers was just caught on tape talking about how he wanted to make sure that there were retired cops who could intimidate voters in the city of Detroit. We deserve the right to vote. People have fought and died for that right. No more election deniers.

Trump opened a hotline to report people who defraud the government. Meanwhile, he's pardoned 70+ fraudsters — including a nursing home owner who stole $1.3B+ from Medicare and Medicaid. Many pardons only came after their family members gave to Trump's Super PAC. Hello?

Trump’s DoJ has prosecuted 15% fewer cases than Merrick Garland did during the same period in the Biden administration. 3,800 fewer cases. So they’re not “indictment maxxing”. 1/

The false patriotism of (so many) Republicans, called out here when remembering the fight for the healthcare for first responders.

Jon Stewart on Mike Rogers: “He was a real pain in our ass in 2010 when we fought for the Zadroga Act for 9/11 first responders. He called it a New York problem and voted against it, all while claiming to respect the heroes of 9/11. It was all bullshit.”

America has been big enough include people whose families came, were here before anybody else showed up, or who were brought here despite themselves. His view of America is small -- small like him"

No one elected Elon Musk to oversee foreign policy. Yet he was able to unilaterally slow down Starlink in Ukraine — because his enormous wealth gave him enormous power. Now he’s using that enormous wealth to buy another election and amass even more power. See the problem here?

I'm a doctor and a dad. I rebuilt Detroit's health department, led Wayne County's Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services. We put glasses on kids, took on corporate polluters, eliminated medical debt. It just shouldn't be this hard to get by in the richest country in the world.

Q: There's a report that FEMA is telling states to prepare to handle disasters on their own. Any reaction? OSSOFF: So the Trump administration is telling folks across the country to prepare to fend for themselves while taxpayer dollars are sent to back Don Jr & Eric's mining interest in Kazakhstan?
