I knew about Christopher Lee being a Lord of the Rings fan long before the films, but delighted to read he enjoyed John Dickson Carr too.

The neighbours are arguing again and the old fella just casually yelled "She found out the real me, when I ate the fucking fanny off of her" Its ended the argument, the place is quiet

Wonder if Henry Cavill can do a Russian accent?

At least she looks happy ...

Dave Prowse with arms full of Hammer starlets Julie Ege, Veronica Carlson and Madeline Smith in a promo image taken during the filming of Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell. The film completed principal photography on this day in 1972. 🖤

This is such a fantastic photo: "The Witches' Tea Party" but I want to use it to explain the origin of the tall, pointy witches hat. The real story of this photo: These are residents at the Hospital of the Holy & Undivided Trinity: an almshouse in Castle Rising, Norfolk, England established 1610.

If you ever wanted to see Frankie Avalon stabbed in the dick. And who hasn't?

The availability of old films and TV shows. Even before you get into the stuff released on Bluray, the amount of things you can find on YouTube, DailyMotion & Internet Archive is staggering.

Didn't care for this one much when I was a young lad, but it's become more and more a favourite as the years go by. Just so much fun. Thanks for the company. Until next time, adieu! #TheFilmCrowd

So Dracula throws out the girls, but keep the boys around? #TheFilmCrowd

"Have you come across one?" "That's rather personal." #TheFilmCrowd

"Please Master! Penetrate me!" #TheFilmCrowd

Instead of Hammer House of Horror, when Hammer made their TV show, it should've been a contemporary series with Van Helsing and his daughter fighting various supernatural foes with help from the police chap in this and Satanic Rites. #TheFilmCrowd

This is what you came for. So to speak. #TheFilmCrowd

By sheer coincidence, this is what they have to do to wake me up in the morning. #TheFilmcrowd

There's a graveyard near where we live that has the exact same name as my mum. I think at first she thought it was some mystical message, but then she got bored and stopped giving a shit. #TheFilmCrowd

There are times this feels like Confessions of a Grave Robber. #TheFilmcrowd

I don't know what they were thinking with Stephanie Beacham's hair in this, but it looks like an alien squid has taken up residence on her head. #TheFilmcrowd

I do think Christopher Neame is really good in this. If Hammer had lived he could've been the new horror star they thought Ralph Bates would be. #TheFilmCrowd

"Hang on ..." #TheFilmCrowd

T-Rex Children of the Revolution was number 2 the week this came out. #TheFilmCrowd

He's also in an episode of Murder She Wrote called The Legacy of Borbey House, where the victim is staked through the heart because everyone thinks he's a vampire. #TheFilmcrowd

We're gonna update it to the 70s, but start with a bit in Victorian times with Van Helsing and Dracula dueling that's the best part of the film, so that everything else is a bit shit. #TheFilmcrowd

How do! Got the old bluray out for this one you jive funky honkies, can you dig? #thefilmcrowd

The warzone that is King's Cross Station at 10pm. Oh the humanity. I expect 15 Tweets before bedtime saying how you can't venture out on London's streets in safety after sunset.

Suicide pills and a copy of Razzle.

Gremlins 2 at the Ritz in Wigan in 1990.

Sombre Gothic vampire film with some silly moments. Silly vampire film with some sombre Gothic moments. Another good Spider-Man film. Terrific stop-motion animation that is based on no one's book. #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched

My bluray top up from the Indicator sale.

Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd being lovers who have adopted Bugs Bunny's kids is surprisingly progressive though.

Today is my birthday and I'd love if people would share my artwork 🥰🖤
