I saw The Secret Agent and loved it so much I went looking for books about the Brazilian dictatorship. I didn't find much (still open to recs) but I stumbled upon Liar's Dice by Juliet Faithfull. Can't recommend it enough if you're interested in that time period and a heartbreaking family story.

Every yoga interaction I have is such a coin flip and it sucks because it really helps me.
