Heartbreaking. And a wake-up call. It is no longer about being difficult to find a way to sustain yourself through your work online. It is no longer sustainable to keep a website up now. Axel has done so much for the web and all of us. Buy one of his books if you can. We've learned so much from him.
1/ Iβm still processing whatβs going on in tech at the moment. I used to feel at home in that world. It used to feel incredibly creative and positive. Now itβs increasingly full of bugs, dark addicting patterns and AI slop. 2ality.com

If you're a framework author or maintainer, please consider joining the WFCG! discord.gg/fXCngmSwHz We're trying to find ways the web platform can be improved for frameworks, what new primitives can be added, or what can be changed. We'll be talking about templating today, come join!
Really like the schema driven API! Using TS Form currently, not yet sure we'll migrate but this, `defaultValues` & not signal based make me consider π€
React Hook Form, TanStack Form, or Formisch β which one should you actually pick in 2026? π§ We compared all three across TypeScript inference, validation architecture, and performance as forms grow. β‘οΈ formisch.dev/blog/react-f...
So excited π₯Ή
Finally, TanStack Start now supports React Server Components! Start's RSCs are a truly fetchable, cacheable and composable primitive that work with your favorite tools instead of dictating your entire architecture. Oh, and one more thing... "Composite Components" π tanstack.com/blog/react-s...
My agent literally implement worker logic with locks etc without using a db transaction, so my first test that had an error made the whole logic fail as that job was now locked and would never be released π€¦π»ββοΈ Sometimes they're soo surprisingly capable & then making the dumbest mistakes. Job safe ππ»ββοΈ

This is how (low orbit) satellite internet should've been built as well instead of allowing one company (Starlink) to kinda control it all and then multiple competitors to launch their own infra unnecessarily polluting space etc π€¦π»ββοΈ Pretty disappointed by Germany

Why We Replaced Node.js With Bun for 5Γ Throughput, by @triggerdev.bsky.social: https://trigger.dev/blog/firebun #nodejs #bun #migrating
Completely switched all schemas from Zod to Valibot like a year ago and never looked back π₯
π Zod users β we need to talk. New Valibot blog just dropped: Why migrate to Valibot? The numbers of Schema Benchmarks are brutal: β 88% smaller bundles (1.91 kB vs 16.57 kB) β 16Γ faster initialization (54 ΞΌs vs 735 ΞΌs)
Only thing I fear is that I consider migrating our codebase to @effect-ts.bsky.social ones v4 is stable and then maybe "having" to migrate to their Schema because of Decoding and Requirements, tho not yet sure how well @valibot.dev would play with Effect actually, so there's still hope π₯Ή
Hey @bunny.net how could I redirect a request to a Container to a different specific container like supported by fly with the fly-replay header? Die magic containers provide something directly or would I need to use a middleware script?

Maybe something for @npmx.dev ? π

@tanstack.com Start's new Import Protection is fantastic and looks pretty well thought through with all the optional configuration they provide π This makes it so much nicer to set clear boundaries between Client & Server π₯³
Love this so much. You usually don't need to return a <Component/> from a #ReactJS hook, but when you do it's really handy. Thanks @tannerlinsley.com for the in-depth explanation, sorry for surfacing such old content, but it's just too valuable. I watch it every now and then π€
@quiche.industries just testing out, love it so far, one thing I discovered is that I'd love an option like "Ask every time" for where to open Universal Links π€
