"'The only true voyage of discovery, the only fountain of Eternal Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to behold the hundred universes that each of them beholds, that each of them is'.

From this view over Cambridge, you'd think it's in the middle of a forest, and it's not just this angle, looking over Lammas Land, it seems that way too. 🌳🌲🌳 Sadly, there is no forest - #Cambridge is actually highly developed - but it is a glimpse back to the fifteenth century.

A long while ago, on the advice of a wise old friend, I took to saying nothing about books or any creative venture I don't enjoy. Just to be clear, though. I've just taken several boxes of books that didn't make the cut to the charity shop. I hope someone else finds joy in them.

Yesterday was #legday, and now, as I ascend the stairs, I make an involuntary sound that sounds like an incantation by Mola Ram, high priest of the Thuggee. And yes, he's available as #Lego.

Astrophotographer Adam (AJ) Smadi caught this image a few hours ago from Washington state. A thin crescent Moon, sunlight illuminating the rugged lunar surface. And 2,400 times farther away—and on the other side of the Sun—mighty Jupiter, and its moons Io (left) and Ganymede (right).

I mean, make the whole thing in white like navy pilots, and you could have saved yourself a million "something something dark side" jokes.

TRUMPS SPACE FORCE UNIFORM Widely mocked for its similarities to Starship Troopers and a general appearance of 'we're the bad guys' from a space opera look, its a genuine proposal. I feel the sieg and the heil not far behind Citizen.

I had a dream where I lost my backpack, and I was really annoyed. Then I reminded myself that in a dream, things happen that won't be true when you wake up. When I woke up, I was relieved that my backpack was there, and it took me a while to realise what an odd dream it was.

I think it's worth mentioning to #book event organisers that if you want authors to attend, contribute or support, you'll need to use a real domain name at the very minimum. Otherwise, you'll be rightly ignored, as the number of awards, events, and speaking emails from junk senders is unmanageable.
