Congress hasn't passed a budget without a last-minute continuing resolution since the late ‘90s. The American people deserve better. It’s time for leaders in DC to offer actual solutions, build bipartisan coalitions, and get things done for the people they represent.

If folks in the Democratic party cannot find it within themselves to be absolute staunch supporters of trans people's rights because trans people are people who have inherent worth, then they should at least do it because if we give up on trans people, then we're literally giving up on democracy.
