Little World Chapter 1

With the release of the first chapter of Little World coming this Friday, we thought it would be cool with @kaylasartwork.bsky.social to share a few sneak peeks :) So, here's our first characters, Marshal & Ash MacKinnon !

Marshall MacKinnon is the main character of this journey. He's a bit out of his element and his friends even describe him as a bit of a lost soul, but he is loved none the less. This life never quite felt right... that is until he encounters a bit of danger on a grocery run.

Ash is our hero whether she wants to be or not. After accidentally stopping a local low level villain she is then thrust into a weird series of crime fighting tales and self reflection that leads to the unravelling of what life once was.

I don't want to stop comics. I don't want something like this to stop me from doing what I love. But I can't do it the same way as before. I can't bring myself to get back to it without adressing the elephant in the room. 4/5

I will always stand next to the victims of abusers, no matter if they're part of a minority or not. No matter if the abuser is loved by the community or not. I won't be part of any community that turn the blind eye to problematic behaviors. Be safe, and see you soon for new comics.

Two years ago, a close friend was victim of abuse by a community member. And I was a collateral damage. People at first reacted and took action. Then "forgot" about it, and acted like nothing ever happened. (I won't elaborate on it, or give any names, to respect the victims privacy.) 2/5

This shattered the love and respect I had for this little community that brought me so much. I couldn't bear to see people praising the comics and life lessons of someone that had done this; I just couldn't draw anything for a while, because it felt just wrong. 3/5
