You know how sometimes you see a movie and it just sticks with you for a week and you can’t stop thinking about it? I watched Disclosure Day a few days ago, and I just had to check my watch history because I had completely forgotten what I had seen. I knew I sat through a movie, but…

Milwaukee, 39 years ago today The Milwaukee Bucks defeat the Soviet Union 127-100 in the USSR’s first basketball game against an NBA team in the 1987 McDonald’s Open at the MECCA (now UWM-Panther) Arena.

PSA: Bucks Pro Shops are open and there’s no waiting! Get very your own Brayden Burries shirsey just like this one - in & out 5 minutes or less.

Inability to feel any kind of remorse, guilt, or fomo about sitting around doing jack is my superpower.

My ability to sustain focus and retain information is practically down to zero. So, a boring rest and lots of hot fluids it is. And probably a comforting movie. You know the worst part? I feel guilty for taking time to rest. What has modern culture done to us?!

I know that means absolutely nothing to those not watching the show. The best parallel would be The Last Of Us, “Long, Long Time”. It’s just that this one came out of absolutely nowhere after 14 fairly straightforward, better-than-fine episodes. Did not see that coming at all.

On a bus from Sarasota to Tampa Bay for the Packer game today, just rolled past a strip mall that sums up the Florida experience: 1. A pizza place literally called just PIZZA 2. PUPPIES 3. LET’S GO FISHING

If Grok had picked a different god, would you have immediately converted? Of course not. You only care because a chatbot confirmed what you already believe. That isn’t divine revelation. It’s confirmation bias.

A record exec spots us and forces 2 glossy 8x10s into our hands. He points across the room and gruffly tells us “Don’t be too cool for school.” We get in line, shake hands, get his autograph, and leave with another round of beers.

“Louis Pasteur of enshittification” 🧑‍🍳💋

But - as with Ticketmaster - the feds aren't the only parties to the suit. With 22 AGs ("Aspiring Governors") on the suit, there's a chance it'll go to trial. We might even learn the identity of the inventor of this enshittification-squared gambit, a veritable Louis Pasteur of enshittification. 73/

In my house it’s either “where did all these coffee mugs come from?”, or “where are all the coffee mugs?”. Never an appropriate, consistent number of coffee mugs.

Today is the first day of the Wisconsin State Fair, and I look forward to continuing my 37-year streak of not giving a shit about the state fair.

I have exactly the handwriting you would expect from someone who has effectively typed for a living the past 30 years.

UPADTE: people keep saying they can't write by hand because their penmanship is lousy. Well, here's a sample of my abominable scratching. Penmanship doesn't matter if you're the only one reading it. When you're done, you can use text to speech to convert your scrawl into a readable document.

Whitefish Bay is doing everything short of posting armed guards to stop people from getting from the West side of Shorewood to the East side, and I don’t like it.

See, this is why I don’t even bother watching the games until the 4th quarter. These guys barely try until there’s 5 minutes left. /s
