The feline distribution system may be at work. Trying to not let my kiddo get her hopes up. Posted on all the Facebook groups I can think of, must have been missing for a while because it’s a /very/ skinny tiny thing.

Going dancing (aasaahhhhh! Tomorrow night with gorgeous friends (aaahhhhhh!!!) and just spent entirely too much on makeup and accessories that I have no practice in applying (AHHHHHHHHH!!!!)

I got hassled at airport security because I looked too young and the wrong gender for my passport. Biggest compliment I’ve gotten all week!

Book hype! Once upon a time, I joined the military. It sucked. I liked sci-fi and I realized most military sci-fi is about leaders and hotshots. It's rarely about the guy at the bottom who never accepts the military life. So I wrote it. It's punchy, it's real, and it's fun. tinyurl.com/35cwwasu

In my opinion Democrats get nothing nothing NOTHING by betraying trans people. They hurt themselves with a good deal of their committed voter base, and still don’t get the Republican votes they are so fucking obsessed with winning over. Lose-lose! People hate voting for squishy moral cowards!!

RIP Dolly Parton ❤️ Here's a lovely Dolly story: We worked together on "Transamerica." She told me that the bible passage that used to puzzle her the most was, "the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men." She said, "How the heck do you sin against the Holy Ghost, and-

I don't think we should mince words. Transphobia and hatred killed May Pollard. The Idaho legislature killed her as surely as if they'd pointed a gun at her head and pulled the trigger. Anti-trans laws were the gun. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...

nbcnews.comIdaho pushed anti-trans laws for years. Then a teen died. The life and death of May Pollard, 16, provides a window into the tragic effect that legislation and political rhetoric have had on trans people in America.

Did my roughly annual rewatch of the Clear Skies machinima trilogy. I’m weirdly nostalgic for EVE despite being terrible at it and it being a terrible game.

The very people who claim any whiff of neurodiversity is fake or a pharma conspiracy are, in fact, using sadistic bigotry, oppression, pushing fascism to dismantle of liberal democracy to stim and we’re all stuck being their fidget toys

That’s the closest I’ve ever been to having a post or reply escape containment and I had no idea people were so passionate about either democratic socialists or choco tacos 🤣

On the fourth of July, 1980, about fifteen trans women went to one of the most upscale public swimming pools in Milan, took off their tops, and started lounging around. It was a Friday, and the height of the summer vacation, so there were plenty of families with young children around. 1/

It feels like Deadloch Season 2 is kind of a rug pull and that the formerly intelligent characters have all been struck with the stupid stick - does it get better? Season one was phenomenal…

This is fantastic and horrifying at the same time.

Did you hear about the DC July 4 fireworks show? It promises 850,000 fireworks in 40 minutes. That's 354 per second. You'll miss up to 142 of them every time you blink. For your edutainment, I proudly present the nerdiest thing you will read about this dangerously absurd / absurdly dangerous event.

When the selkie returned to the beach, a man was holding her sealskin. "Is this yours?" he asked. "May I borrow it?" "You want to be a seal?" "No, but when I take it off, I'll be a woman, right?" "My heart, you already are," the selkie said. "That skin is mine, but I can help you find yours."
