Found in an old textbook of mine. From my days when I was sent to a horrid Independent Fundamentalist Baptist christian school. I think this was 6th grade. Apparently, I was tired of Jehovah. I chose that day to worship Ralph instead. I have been blessed with delicious cabbage ever since.

Thank the random goddess that the show Silo was started after the book series was completed. I didn't have to wait years to see how the story would end.

My institution manages to fulfill a guy's lifelong dream of becoming a vampire. He tips us $28 and gives us 4 stars on Yelp. Love the gratitude, bat dude.

Got a job at the cemetery. Boss explaining prices to me. Bulk mausoleums are our cheapest offering. Burying in the ground is the most expensive. Why? Because anything in that ground comes to life in 3 days. If a guy wants traditional burial, they pay for the security detail to stop what comes out.

It's a pity I can't travel now. Feeling the strong urge to find a tourist trap and spend $200 on useless & strange plastic things. I'm playing Two Point Museum. Building the Gift Shop in each museum brings that kid feeling of needing all the souvenirs.

Walked into the kitchen at midnight to find a raccoon doing her best to break into the cat food container. She stared at me. I stared at her. Then she sullenly walked off. Time to latch the cat door at night. I liked seeing the possums break in for free cat food. But raccoons, no.

Thinking tycoon games should implement an "executive suite" room / building. Ongoing costs of 10% of revenue. Reduces work speed & morale by 5%. But the graphics are very enticing and it gives 10% to an empty stat like "Prestige." Thus many players will build it.

Woke up this morning. Rolled over and told the wife: "The wedding was great. But for some reason, grandpa dressed like a samurai." "Isn't your grandfather dead?" "Yeah, but that wouldn't stop him from coming to the wedding." "Whose wedding?" But I was already back asleep.

Look up in the sky! It's a plane! It's a fursuit! IT'S A PLANE FURSUIT?!?✈️ Strafe is one of the COOLEST suits we've ever made!💥He's an F-14 Tomcat jet with glowing eyes, muscle padding, big wings, tons of minky details, plush engines, AND detachable missiles! 🤯 #fursuit #fursuitmaker #furryfandom

Going mad but very quietly. The madness isn't the least bit interesting. Other people see great wheels of fire in the sky. For me, just catch glimpses of a tasteless celestial marmalade.

Angry Dog Pope with his sleepy brother who's trying to summon the devil. But the devil is taking forever, so there's time to nap with some snacks. #scriptorium

Wish a California criminal defense attorney would do a series on Columbo. Going episode by episode and showing how each murderer would skate due to Columbo violating procedure or only having the most circumstantial evidence.

Always creepy walking past the cryogenic chambers at night. They're in their icy blue coffins. Their still faces visible in little yellow windows. Hundreds in a row. Last night, one had their eyes open. They winked at me.

As I play yet another indie open world game, I'll never cease to be amazed at how the mind can find beauty and grandeur in what is just simple perlin noise.

Maybe the most fun thing to do in games with a photo mode is to create a dozen photos and then stitch them together into a large landscape. Nothing more fun than seeing the details of cities which have never existed.

Played Transport Fever 2 all weekend. Feeling a weird parasocial connection with whoever did the track laying algorithms. This person is now simultaneously my kindest best friend, and my mocking, utterly mad best friend. I imagine them in Zurich, looking at train tracks, and laughing endlessly.

Much of the feast is food from Agriculture but Eli & Emma's crops are mixed in. Whoever ends up with a large misshapen tomato--instead of the perfectly shaped small ones from agroponics--feels terribly lucky.

The Amish couple enjoys the irony of their position. Living a simple, fully manual life while quietly supported by one of the most complex systems humanity has ever created.

The crops aren't much different than what's grown in agroponics, but they're highly valued. Each harvest is celebrated with a feast that draws people from all over Titan and even from some of the nearby moons.

Eli and Emma built the house themselves. Many of the planks were imported from Earth at some expense and paid by a popular fundraiser. The rest were from trees grown by Agriculture in their spare time. The farm was very much a community effort.

Many in the Gardens showed up for the house building and barn raising. Built entirely with human labor. Using the valuable planks and metal nails from the fabricators. The only place in Titan constructed purely by hand.

Just a few clicks down the dirt road from the medieval village, there's a simple two-story board house with a small barn. Has around 10 acres of cropland. Here lives a couple, Eli and Emma, who describe themselves as the only Amish on Titan. They are possibly the only Amish in any of the Colonies.

Their work is aided by two draft horses, John and Matthew. Another pair of "onlys" as they are the only working animals within millions of miles. In the low gravity, they do not have to pull hard in the soft engineered soil. Most days, they snack on carrots and snort at visitors.

Kansas. Standing by the old quarry. Heard owl hoots. The occasional coyote yip. Fortunately, did not hear any footsteps. That's the sort of place where Hitchhiker would show up. Ask you for a light. And then no one would ever see you again.

Thinking being a ghost isn't so bad. Would go over to the in-laws house and try to trigger their motion detection lights in a morse code pattern. Encoding something creepy like "I'm alf and i'm here to eat your cats!!" But probably wouldn't work. Mainly because I don't know morse. They don't either

The simplest fix? Work the refs. Try to control the narrative. Don’t subject yourself to questions that would force you to take an unpopular stand. Don’t acknowledge the real trade-off behind the reconciliation bill and the grievous harms it will inflict on Kansans. #ksleg

Dreamed the ghost of David Lynch came to visit. Told me he's partnering with Mark Frost again. This time, they're going to remake Quincy ME. "I think newer generations need a medical examiner," he said in a ghost whisper.

Mega Mecha Bear. The final boss of Medieval Dynasty. Surrounded by a thousand bandits who worship her daily. Guarded by five hundred rabid wisents. Led by a little girl priestess who cries out: "blood for the bear god! honey tarts for me!"

Taking the trash out. Neighbor is quietly yelling at his cat to come in. "Bubba! Bubba! Bubba! I know you can hear me! Bubbbbaaaa!" Bubba is a handsome orange gentleman. Just gleefully rolling around on the sidewalk and ignoring all mentions of his name.

My mother died when I was 2. Had a dream last night that she was still alive. Hidden away with Scientology's Sea Org all these years & decades. She said she was sorry she missed out on everything with me. But she was "Clear" and that made it all worth it.
