I'm looking to build a service that RECEIVES emails and parses the contents. Any recommendations on services I can use to streamline this? Would rather not setup a mail server myself lol

AI is a great coding companion, but you still need to put in the reps if you want to keep your skills sharp. Use it for the tool it is and dont let it become a crutch!

Working on a video that outlines the new Clerk & Supabase integration and how the whole thing works. Looking for feedback 🤗 First few slides walk through how a typical multi-tier application works, both independently and with Clerk.

Finally I'm going to highlight authorization with Supabase and Clerk and how RLS is used to prevent the user from accessing data they shouldnt have access to, along with some key requirements to make Supabase and Clerk work together.

This is all going to proceed a hands on demo of adding the integration to a project just to see it in action. Debating if I should include B2B stuff in this video or in a separate one. Anything else I should add?

My morning routine: 8:00 am - Wake up 8:30 am - Grab a brush and put on a little makeup 9:00 am - Hide the scars to fade away the shake-up 9:30 am - Ask myself "Why'd you leave the keys upon the table?" 10:00 am - Go create another fable (I wanted to)

For context, I do this whenever I have a ton of stuff I absolutely need to stay focused on. I love productivity software and use it to help me stay organized every day, but when focus is paramount, nothing beats an analog work board

You shouldn't trust code written by AI. That's not to say you shouldn't use AI to write code, but you should review everything it creates for accuracy and consistency.

Vibe coding is a huge productivity boost, but it isn't going to replace devs. It is however going to raise the bar for devs. AI is too confident in itself, and that confidence can mask the poor or insecure code to the untrained dev or muggle trying to build stuff.

Is it true to say an MCP is like an API designed to be consumed by an LLM? Finally looked into it for the first time yesterday and this seems like an apt description

Need advice from my React devs out there . I need to load a Zustand store with a bunch of data from an API. Should I just do that directly in the store using an async function or inject the data? The goal is maintainability. Would love examples if anyone has any.

Back to building directly on AWS. Some people are scared of it, but I actually quite enjoy the challenge. Ran into some weirdness when building my authorizer so thought I’d write about it

Something I haven’t seen discussed about AI code editors is the different code style they produce in comparison to my own. And sometimes is BAD. One idea that I think would be amazing is to scan my GitHub profile and create a style that matches what I’ve already produced.
