Every white trans woman started this life as a little white boy and some of them transitioned everything but their racism. I said SOME, deliberately. If that’s not you, move on. And I’ll CONTINUE to support the trans community, but not you little cosplaying fuckers on here.

Ok, I didn't think I had anything for this, but a little midnight writing sesh reminded me I have a whole new WIP I've been working on then set aside. So here's the big bad from it. He hates my new superhero team and their viral videos of the world in love with them.

Character intros are fun-- AND SO CAN YOU! Post a fun intro for a character in a WIP. Don't cost nuthin. #ScriptSky

*Dr. Farnsworth voice* Good news, everyone! I figured out how to amp everything up. It needs more Martek. In fact every script is going to need more Martek moving forward, so make it happen. And no, I will NOT explain who or what Martek is. #ScriptSky

Hey #ScriptSky, what are y'all writing? I just finished going through my second edit pass for (THE) ROSTER (OF THE DRAGON KNIGHTS), my second fantasy epic and writing down editing notes. I know I need to amp things up, so I'll be running through those notes this week.

What's disturbing to me about this whole thing is that I first saw him on tv in 1987 (Access Hollywood or sumn) as a teen, and my IMMEDIATE reaction was, "Oh that guy's skeezy." I don't get why others didn't have that same reaction?

Donald Trump never should have been electable, let alone elected, after the "grab 'em by the pussy" tape. He was elected anyway—TWICE—because America hates women more than it hates shameless sexual predators and adjudicated rapists. You'll never convince me otherwise. Reality is on my side.

Great advice from Nate (once again!). If I may add one thing: when you become "the boss", remember how frustrating it was and make sure you have a spine when it comes to your people. When I made E7 in the military, I viewed my job as a shield between the people above me and the people below me...

They say if you haven’t been fired from a job in Hollywood, you haven’t been working in Hollywood for long. But getting fired is no badge of honor. It absolutely sucks! So this week’s #Scriptsky #Screenwriting thread is about THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO TO KEEP YOUR JOB.

*BONUS for clarification: It takes a literal Act of Congress to make an E7 in the military, so it also takes a literal Act of Congress to demote an E7. And it takes something Very Very Bad™️ to activate an Act of Congress for that. Something much MUCH worse than disrespecting a 1LT.

Don't be afraid to hurt feelings, either. We all need "cognitive recalibration" once in a while. I once had a first looey get in my face in front of a platoon because he wanted to have a dick-measuring contest. Kid was about 22, fresh out of West Point. I was fresh off my sixth combat deployment.

Hopefully by that point, you should have enough working knowledge of the BUSINESS of art that you can tell them their concerns are dumb so that they smile and give you an attaboy. (along the lines of corporate email speak: "I already fucking told you 30 GD times..." = "Per our conversation")

It's easy to explain. There's very little mystery to it. It's white people's racism and misogyny. The difficulty lies in us accepting our own culpability.

1,000 years from now, teachers will struggle to explain to their students how at this time in history, we found literally the most despicable human being in America and made him the most powerful person in the world
