Show #3 was another trip back to the '80s. But, a very different corner of the '80s, this one didn't get much, if any, radio play. Ministry decided it was high time to give some love to their first two albums, that are more synth-pop than industrial.

Two other bands from that same corner of the 80's opened: My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, and Die Krupps. Die Krupps was completely new to me and I really enjoyed their set, another band I need to dig into.

Pet Needs is going to be big in the punk world! Friday night was their first headlining show in the US and they had the full band in tow. High energy, great songs, and a very enthusiastic crowd. Go see them if they're coming to a small club near you.

Black Guy Fawkes was a great opener - great voice and meaningful songs. Local punk band Curious Things started off the night to get the crowd moving. #Concert #ConcertPhotography #Concerts #SaveOurStages #LiveMusic #LiveForLiveMusic #LiveMusicPhotography #NothingBeatsLiveMusic #GuitarRockIsNotDead

I'm a few days late... The first of 4 VERY different shows with a trip to the 80s. Simple Minds, Soft Cell, and Modern English. I knew a lot more Simple Minds songs than I thought. And I really enjoyed Modern English's short set, I'll have to look up more of their material.

BINGO! I've been out of the corporate world for 4 years now and apparently that is long enough to purge all the corporate speak from my brain. It all came flooding back today during a customer's webinar to announce a next-gen integration that creates an ecosystem of innovation. 🤪

Matt Nathanson is always a good show and last night was one of the best I've seen. He and KT Tunstall are amazing together. He seems to genuinely enjoy performing and feeds off the audience's energy. #Concert #Concerts #LiveMusic #LiveForLiveMusic #MattNathanson #KTTunstall #WheelOfSong
