Montpellier schooling Bath. Arthur Green (the most stereotypically English named player) wishing he'd stuck with the day job, lining up outside Captain Mainwaring after closing the grocery store.

Twice in games I've watched today, the ref has marched the team 10m for backchat. Wonder if that's a 'reinforcement' decision for referees like the Maul laws reinforcements. Hope so.

Seriously impressed by the language skills from Lauren Slater! Interviews Lucu post match. Asks the question in English, for the audience. Then asks him in French. Listens to his answer, and translates it back to English for the audience. And English is, arguably, her second language!! Incroyable! 😳

Just been educated about the new “Single Malt” law in England that there’s has been a bit of noise about. Been hearing they’re the same as Scotland and Ireland. Turns out that’s not true and the guidelines in Scotland and Ireland are far more difficult to meet. Who saw that coming 🙄

Hey all. Any #Jedforest people on here? How’s the parking at Riverside? When I went to the 7s I parked in the Woollen Mill carpark down the road, but I’m guessing the Marr game won’t be so busy! Cheers in advance.

"we're surprised the guy who pulled this exact move on his old job to come work for us pulled it again on us to go work for someone else" is extremely on brand though, fair play

Scottish Rugby say they are "surprised" that Sione Fukofuka has been confirmed as Wallaroos head coach little over a week after his departure from Murrayfield was confirmed 🔗 shorturl.at/8ELeQ

So, I have a large and very busy wasps nest in the external wall of my house, beside my bedroom window. I have some nest killing powder, a ladder and an incontrollable, irrational phobia. But I’ve had an unusual, mid-week large whisky and I have some protective clothing. I’m going in. Wish me luck.

To be clear, I don’t like killing anything I won’t eat. Living on a shooting estate for years changed my view of shooting as a “sport”. But wasps get no reprieve. Little feckers can’t die off soon enough.

Ok, last rugby rant until the next one.
I’ve seen some posts about the great success of Scotland u20s posting Nucifora’s face.
The average age of the u20s players is about 19. He joined the SRU less than 2 years ago. There is NO FECKING CHANCE his influence had anything to do with that success.

Just caught up with @thetrawl.bsky.social podcast with Anthony Scaramucci. Apart from being quite excellent, his quote, when asked about Musk, is a new one on me. He likened being very rich to taking drugs. “The very rich smoke the bong of their own bullshit.” Love it!! 😂

It’s very difficult to get supermarket pizza right. I usually avoid it, but thought I’d treat myself today. So I’d just like to compliment #Tesco on their exemplary use of Bland. To witness their corporate chefs use Bland with such precision and abandon is a lesson to all aspiring cooks.

So Ulster supporters on here. What are you thinking the club should do. Go all out at home against Glasgow to secure top 8, but risk top players. Or rest some of your best against Glasgow to try for silverware in Europe and get a Champions Cup place anyway. An interesting conundrum you have.

To my friends here, I have ditched Autocarrot completely. I did this a fews days ago, as I was annoyed by the system ‘completing’ words that were not my intent, rather than correcting spelling. It will inevitably lead to even more errors, as my brain kicks back into gear. Please bear with me.

I wear a lot of T-shirts and just ordering some new ones that I’ve put off until I’d moved house. Don’t need T-shirts to make a statement but I love stuff where ‘if you know, you know’. Love this one!!

Watched the Ulster game an hour behind ‘live’, Great game of rugby and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a neutral. Although. Exeter are… A. English B. Have overtly racist fans and management C. My Ex-Wife’s Team. So Neutral may be doing a bit of heavy lifting there…

So Leinster lost to Benetton. Interested to hear from Leinster supporters. Was it the Ref, the laws, the lack of international players available to you, or maybe the pasta? Just curious.

Hey folks. Question for anyone who has needed to get a US visa recently. Close friends’ daughter has a place for Camp America and has just been to London to arrange a Visa. The application came back as ‘denied’ but they’ve taken her passport and want to check her social media. Is this ‘normal’?

Let’s be clear. Every Edinburgh try was a result of either Leinster mistakes (intercepts) or individual brilliance (Darcy Graham!). Not a single try was scored because of guile, deceit or cleverness in the Edinburgh attack. Their weakness in attack is only surpassed by their weakness in defence.

After another inevitable yet completely avoidable defeat (at half time), a chant for the Edinburgh coaching setup:

”Extended in the morning. You’re getting extended in the morning Extended in the morning…”

Just back from the shop in Kelso and clearly been through some sort of inter-dimensional portal because according to the internet here, the Dragons have beaten Stade Francais. In France 😂. Mad. Can you imagine if that was real!? The fallout in Paris would be nuclear!

Nobody on half time chat going to talk about the fact that Castre are still ahead having played ~7 minutes with 13 and a further ~6 minutes with 14… No? Beuller…?
