I learnt last week something that the movie business is going to start doing: using AI to replace actors' mouths in foreign versions to give the illusion that they're speaking the dubbed language... and recreating their voice using AI. How uncanny valley / Cavill's moustache will this be? Ugh.

I didn't realise how many older workers that I had on my roster until I started doing a stable of "Grizzled Veterans". It's now up to 7 people, including the manager. 😅 It's the oWo. I'll keep the stable going years past its expiry, and just keep adding more people as they age into it. 🤣 #EWR

Literally a month ago, they were touting how they were improving AI in Firefox. This is such bullshit. It's all or nothing, assholes. Either you're for AI or you're anti-AI; you can't play both sides on this one.

We, internationally, need to do exactly what the Brazilians did and lead by example with: 1) Block all far right figures/accounts 2) Never share a far right account even to dunk on them 3) Never reply to a far right account even to dunk on them Completely cut their algorithmic advantage

The fight just to exist as a team was a really important story to tell, so I get why they had to focus on that in S4, but I'd really like to see them on the pitch more in S5. Higher stakes games. Learning new plays. TotalFootball? Lasso Special? Maybe Chilton has something up her sleeve? #TedLasso

I don't think that this is very spoiler-y, so I think it's safe to post: I read an interesting fan theory about #TedLasso S5. They think that the stage manager's name is Claire. If you're a fan, you should be able to put it together. If true, that could be interesting.

So, not only does DST still exist for some reason... but, just to make things even more interesting, Europe/UK changes theirs a week before North America... which in itself no longer has DST everywhere. Woof... doing int'l business in the next week is gonna' be a pain. How is this still a thing?

I feel so basic. 😅 I've only played AD&D 2e, D&D 3e, and Star Wars (I honestly don't even know which one). We, very briefly, attempted to play Wheel of Time but that went nowhere fast; so I'm not really counting it.

Anyone else remember those shitty arcade machines that had a bunch of different games on them - which was cool - but every quarter just bought you, like, 2 minutes of play time? It was, until we got it for the NES, the only way that I could play Super Mario 3, but, still... what a rip off.

It was probably Pac-Man or Donkey Kong on the table style machines in restaurants/bars. I'd've been too small for an upright cabinet. 😅

"Debate" has been corrupted by codifying it into a competitive sport imo; at this point it is rarely a method for good faith actors to hit upon best solutions or refine a shared reality; it's mostly a vector for bad faith actors to keep failed and destructive ideas in perpetual zombie currency.

I have literally no idea why this completely random thought even occured to me... ... but I wonder what a Benjamin / Ciampa tag team would be like. 🤔
