Bulls a 1 point deficit into halftime, Josh Giddey -13 Buzelis 4 points, Wilson 2 points Essengue/Miller the frontcourt of the future?

'Norm, we're so bad go grift us some points' time has arrived in the early second quarter for the first two games of the season

state propaganda. Matas had 12 of these FTM in the 4th quarter when down 40 points. He was awful in the competitive portion of the game.

One minute on Caleb Wilson's debut. Ballhandling and shooting were bad, way too many turnovers (9), but there was some good stuff too when I dove into the film.

congrats to Nick Richards, I say he is my friend because he clearly pissed Joe Cowley off personally late last season

With the stroke of midnight, Nick Richards has his Heat season-long guarantee. www.sun-sentinel.com/2026/10/21/w... Gamble in free-agency pays off with roster spot.

this talk makes me lose my mind, it's like the Bulls have hypnotized everyone covering the team, and even with new management... you don't need an open roster spot to open the season! if you need an open roster spot midseason, waive someone!

Also wasn't a manufactured 'positive' of selling the 2nd round pick the idea that Graham could sign someone he liked better than available in 2nd round? Or is there some manufactured cap on how many of those the organization can handle?

There's no need to try and wrangle positives from a team construction perspective out of keeping the roster spot open. As @hoopsrumors.bsky.social flatly details, It's just the Bulls being cheap. Like selling the 2nd round picks, not an egregious sin but Bryson Graham is already very Bulls

I wouldn't mind if they just cancelled it. There's 81 more.

The NBA and Milwaukee Bucks have moved its home opener vs. Chicago to 3 p.m. CT, so there is no direct conflict with Game 1 of the World Series.

"Bucks are sitting tons of regulars, per Taylor Jenkins. Kuzma. Herro. Jaquez Jr. Trent Jr. and more." ah well! it's a pretty looking spreadsheet regardless

Talkin matchup with the Bucks tonight at BlogABull here's my roster snapshot for them, obviously a ton of changes www.blogabull.com/p/bulls-pres...

one of these names - Isaiah Stevens - signed with the Bulls I've also since learned (from @hoopsrumors.bsky.social ) that Nate Williams signed in Japan

still manually tracking the rosters, and best I can tell the following players were on teams to end last season and do not have a contract for this year, not even training camp or overseas

He's still in the front office as ownership consigliere, and yes I don't love it

Bonus Hollander POTD John Paxson. Notre Dame G was drafted 19th by SA in 83. After 3 meh seasons, he built a role as MJ's foil in the backcourt from 86-94. His clutch shooting sealed titles in Game 5 of the 91 Finals & Game 6 of the 93 Finals. Fans loved him as player, not as GM.
