One thing that's different than when I was young is being able to emulate very close to current generation console games. I mean, at least *me* being able to do that. I remember when they finally got Mega Man X2 working when I was a kid. Emulators were very exciting and got more and more capable!

I'm confused about all the LLM based game de-compilation people are doing. The games I see this done to were perfectly playable on myriad emulators. What's the point of slopping together a messed up version of Mischief Makers and then abandoning it? Are people unwilling to use an emulator?

I'm all for videogame preservation man, but an invasion of buggy vibe-coded decompilations is not a good thing. They misrepresent what the game is actually like, and for a lot of people that's the version they'll remember.

The sooner that folks acknowledge the whole point of most modern commercial AI is to produce the products of human slavery without the immediate moral compromises, we'll be better off. Over and over we see the edges of it picked at in every AI labor scandal but people don't like truth.

There's something extra exhausting about the expectation from cis people that trans people should be nice and acquiesce quietly, when a lot of us have lost friends in recent years, have been fleeing homes or are helping out friends fleeing or trying to keep them afloat after being ousted from work..

Technical issue with the stream should be resolved shortly! The wifi driver stopped working on the stream machine, that keeps happening in Fedora for some reason. Stream will restart in a few minutes!

I continue to be incandescent with rage and sadness over the betrayal Cis society has shown Trans people. I'll keep it at that.

I've been scanning the contents of the sketchbooks I'm working on over on my sketchbook account. I've settled into a 660 page A5 book & have been working my way through it. I draw studies in the front and characters in the back - working my way through the Morpho Simplified forms book when studying!

Finally moved my SFW account to Blacksky! These days I primarily do a lot of NSFW drawing though -- I haven't migrated those accounts yet because I wasn't sure if that is allowed. For now, I think I'll leave everything else. I just need a spare minute to photograph my sketchbook and the like.

Y'all had me excited with Octopath for a minute until I noticed it's just that damn mobile game. Is this the only way I'm gonna get some negroes in this damn thing? Mobile? I don't wanna make a character, just make a JRPG and tell me a story. At least Octopath 3 will probably happen!

My workhorse Cintiq has been shattered. I'm going to be taking commissions to allay the costs to repair it if possible - Likely traditional, though I can still do digital character illustrations for the moment. Details to come on my NSFW account first, then here when I figure out what to do.
