🐦 Palm Warbler 🗺️ South Florida 📷 Sony a6700 w/ Sony E 70-350mm lens #birds #birdphotography these little Palm Warblers are all around our neighborhood park in big numbers, found one that caught a snack

the beta notifications tab on here is pretty neat imo

🐦 Northern Parula 🗺️ South Florida 📷 Sony a6700 w/ Sony E 70-350mm lens #birds #birdphotography So this Saturday I found the cheat code to taking nice photos of warblers: it's this one tree at my park with good morning lighting, very little foliage, and tons of berries that they like to stop for

is it just me or is the website view for bluesky intermittently screwed up right now

At Disney Springs for a bday, impressed with the easy birding out here 😍 Snowy Egret, Great Egret, Great Blue Heron, Double-breasted Cormorant, Pied billed Grebe, Limpkin

she came back alone this afternoon, guess her mate wasn’t impressed with my setup 💔

yay piping plovers 😍

Still hyped I saw this guy today, I hope they come back for more food 😍

I love how there's so many bot auto-follow accounts on here, ai content grifters, all the alt govt department accounts posting AI misinfo constantly, politics bots, bigots, etc. but my bird account is the one that gets moderator action on it and shadow banned

see you guys next week i guess

there's a bug with bluesky alt text where if you select the middle of the alt text and type, it goes to the end of the line and not where the cursor is i thought i was going insane or had computer issues, but no it's a bsky bug

Oh yeah, also forgot that I saw the Green Heron at the park again, heavily fixated on something around the Cypress knees

i love birds u guys

good morning, let’s have a good weekend 😌

I GOT IT! I know it's a high bar, but this might be my favorite close proximity pelican in flight video of my life so far! 🪶 🎶 Avantasia - Against The Wind (Instrumental)

welcome to the jungle we’ve got fungus games we got lots of mushrooms with surprising names

🐦 Sabine's Gull 🗺️ Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, Nevada 📷 Sony a6700 w/ Sony E 70-350mm lens #birds for today's #BirdOfTheDay ALT theme of #Grey, a Sabine's Gull, a rare for the Las Vegas area, and a new lifer for me very lucky to get a mostly west coast sea bird on my recent trip to the desert

yeah me too girl

一羽が水浴びをしている隣に飛んできて、自分も水浴びをしたそうなシジュウカラ。でもその場所は思ったより水深があり、水に入るのをかなりためらっているようだった。 A Japanese tit flew over next to one that was bathing, wanting to bathe itself as well. But the water at that spot was deeper than expected, and it seemed quite hesitant to enter.🏊‍♂️ #Birds Taken in Tokyo, Japan

🐦 Green Heron 🗺️ South Florida 📷 Sony a6700 Sony E 70-350mm #birds #birdphotography came across this goofy looking henchman on Saturday, their expressions always amuse me

female common yellowthroat just slammed into my office window, and landed on this leaf, resting there for like 5 minutes until she finally flew off hope you’re okay girl, not the way I wanna get a spot 😭
