Question: What is the name of the company that “won the contract” to build the Epstine Ballroom? Who are they tied to? How inflated was the bid - or for that matter how inflated is the square footage of the ballroom? FOLLOW THE MONEY

11 people shot in Idaho by unknown gunmen, nine firefighters and two cops, police don’t know if it’s one person or several. The shootings are happening in an area surrounded by right wing Nazi militias. Firefighters were responding to a fire when they were ambushed.

What to Do If You Encounter an ICE Agent. (print / share). ICE often operate without identification, contributing to fear, confusion, and potential abuse. Demanding accountability helps protect communities and exposes operations that may be unethical or unlawful. #3E #StopICE

A Muslim son of immigrants might become mayor of NYC in part because he cross endorsed and supported a Jewish candidate and Black candidate, and vice versa. It's a beautiful American story for the rest of us. A nightmare for all the right people ;) It's so New York.

Was an interesting weekend to finish this book to say the least, but wanted to recommend MARTYR! to anyone who hasn’t read it. Just astoundingly beautiful prose (you can tell the author is a poet), with so much to say about the stories we tell about ourselves and others.

I don’t understand (I do but bear with me) why some white people are so offended that POC are stronger, taller, have bigger penises, etc. The people who owned slaves literally bred them to possess all of those traits. 🤦‍♂️

Listen, I don't subscribe to the "tariffs are the path to economic prosperity but also a punishment" approach, but if you're going to do it, then 1) commit 2) be transparent about who shoulders the burden. 50 goddamn years of trickle down economics, why would a corporation absorb this cost?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but EVERY FUCKING RETAILER needs to show the tariffs next to the price -- not just Amazon. Walmart, Target, ALL OF THEM. It's a fucking tax, why shouldn't we see it? I want to know exactly how much trump's tariffs are jacking my prices up. DON'T YOU?

Scientists flag disturbing trends emerging among large mammals: 'Animals are increasingly compelled ...' worth a read if you’re interested in how Global Warming is affecting animal migrations. Animal behavior is generally a sign of what is to come for humans as well.

US Supreme Court temporarily blocks deportations of Venezuelan migrants under wartime law Cool, now we get to see what happens when a sitting (he doesn’t do much else) president refuses to comply with SCOTUS. I know Jackson did it, this seems different 🤷‍♂️
