Online MAGA'ners care about the honor of The Cheesecake Factory, and not about how we are going to afford gas.

There’s the fact this project was ORIGINALLY backed by Biden Infra Act money. And the issue of subsidizing wealthy corporate owners. Trump using the tariff-policy and most likely bribes to police his own GOP power through endorsements and money.

There are so many amazing points in this story. Like the cheap low-carbon Canadian hydropower being the fundamental source of American aluminum. Especially as other electricity demands have pushed up costs for US electricity. It’s almost like trade allows you to concentrate on higher-better uses.

Obama’s Cheesecake Factory decor joke is going to continue to get far more play in the media, days after it happened, than RFK Jr being openly racist. Draw your own conclusions about the press based on that.

Young ‘uns: this stuff happened once a week during Obama’s presidency. Dijon mustard. Moving a bust of Churchill. Inviting a rapper to the White House. Putting his feet up on his desk. They’d scream and cry for days about how effete and snobby and Black he was and how misinderstood they were.

RFK Jr is a POS, that level of open racism is shocking by a top US official - and of course, racism is still here. I like Civil War history. IMO, it is Americans' responsibility to know the evils of racism - it brought us slavery and our bloodiest war.

This is also a good example of what you have to do to get charged with PFBF as a white guy. Run for elected office, post your imminent intent to go out and commit suicide by cop, then walk around open carrying a revolver.

Charges have been declined in this case twice before -- once by John Durham, once under Bill Barr. Todd Blanche just took his dick out and said, well, then I'll do it. Without a grand jury.

ELECTION DAY RECORD: with a week to go, U.S. gas prices are 42.3c/gal above 2022’s election day avg, the priciest election day at the pump ever. diesel is nearly $1/gal above 2022’s $5.33/gal. both are on track for the highest election day prices on record (not all-time highs).

This is one good example of how appropriations hardball can work if you're willing to not blink first. Another: take your pick for demands and restrictions on funding Executive Office of the President. Yes, literally defund the White House. EOP is the central hub of the assault on the Constitution.

Is all this really feasible? Won't Trump refuse to sign anything like this? Won't he litigate it? Won't it lead to government shutdowns? Yes, yes, and yes. But it's still absolutely doable and necessary. Here's why: newrepublic.com/article/2171...

Ill-defined Republican forever wars in the Middle East, in many cases broadly supported by Democrats, have had a huge human cost, including the displacement of roughly 38 million people.
