Whenever a speedrunner/competitive gaming cheat expose drops: Please tell me in excruciating detail the subtle oversights and mechanics of a 10+ year old game that was later determined to be the result of a typo from programmer John who was fired and lost his house in the divorce during development

I'm just a sucker for thorough technical analysis, give me any excuse to talk about how game code works and doesn't. Also, that joke got away from me but the idea was that high-level players know a game so well they might as well have figured out exactly who wrote what lines of code.

The best part is where King Boom Boo fails to teleport so he ends up going to where the home stretch is physically located in the level so you can see him just coming out of the void off the right of the screen

Interesting that #CuttingEdgeROM has XS rank on lower difficulties (it's traditionally only hard or challenge ops), and 1-5 is incredibly free mostly due to the time limit being generous so that you can fumble around in the dark

This is such a GOATed TAS but it turns out this type of TAS is probably not going to be done again, at least not with a different game. At the time of posting, the author noted that Brain Age is the only the game they found that can be abused to recognize complex pictures as numbers

My thought on the whole Pokemon TCGP Ho-Oh debacle is that there was some lapse in judgement or memory during the process since if it was intentionally plagiarized, the odds are good past works have also been plagiarized.
