Connor

Vacation in Colorado was incredible and also exhausting. Queued up some @cbccpodcast.bsky.social for flight home. And did I mention I can’t wait to see my cats?

Legion of Superheroes #2 was amazing! From a technical perspective it’s one of the best books on the market, the writing is so tight, the art is incredible, the colors are pop like you wouldn’t believe and the lettering is inventive as hell. I continue to be obsessed with this book

On a personal note the best part of the con was reconnecting with my friends and family that I don't get to see too often. I'm sure glad my friends live in New York and comic con gives me an excuse to visit them!

One of my favorite parts of the con was getting to touch base and connect with so many members of the super team over at DC comics! The incredible and talented Dan Mora @lucas-meyer.bsky.social @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social and @paulkaminski.bsky.social ! There's not many people cooler than this!

I hope everyone knows what a gem Todd Nauck is. Genuinely one of the nicest and coolest people working in comics who I hope to see again next year!

New York comic con was incredible! New York comic con was also exhausting! Can’t wait until next year!

Meeting Chip Zdarsky for like the hundredth time over the weekend and he is still as incredible and kind as ever

The dollar bins were good to me at Baltimore comic con

Also in love with this variant cover

Evening reading

Continuing my reread of Supergirl by @mooncalfe1.bsky.social and I am so utterly charmed by this series. It’s fun and Sophie’s art is a real treat.

Damn it. So disappointing to hear

I got to meet one of my all time favorite artists on the release day of the book I’ve been talking about non stop for over a year! @cleanlined.bsky.social Long Live the Legion!!

This months Absolute Wonder Woman absolutely blew me away. Incredible art by @cleanlined.bsky.social and PHENOMENAL writing from @kellythompson.bsky.social !! DO NOT MISS THIS ISSUE!!

Incredible week for comics!

Finally diving into Batman: Bad Seeds! @gwillow.me and @mattfraction.bsky.social what magic do you have in store for me?

I don’t get how anybody who is a fan of comics in general and X-Men in particular can also be a right-winger. That level of cognitive dissonance should literally kill you.

Good morning!

So hyped to listen to this!!

Has anybody seen Hal Jordan?

Happy birthday to the AMAZING @mouthdork.bsky.social from the SPECTACULAR @cbccpodcast.bsky.social podcast! Wishing you a great one today and hope to hangout soon!

Incredibly emotional issue and continues to be one of the best books on the stands. Well done @jefflemire171.bsky.social

To no ones surprise, this was amazing. @chrissamnee.bsky.social Mat Lopes and Mark Waid knock it out of the park yet again!

Lanterns premieres this weekend so it’s a perfect time to reread one of my favorite Green Lantern stories from the incredible @phillipkjohnson.bsky.social

Rereading the first few issues in anticipation of today’s new issue. Duty of the Firestorm by @jefflemire171.bsky.social continues to blow me away

I really really dug this interview. Bill is one of those creators that when I was younger was too weird and different but as I got older I realized how incredible and unique it was and it changed the way I viewed comics. Also I don’t know how Brad and Lisa recorded so clearly on the SDCC showfloor

New comic book day!

Reading through the triangle era and almost at the Death of Superman. Dan Jurgens covers are always so iconic

I apologize for who I will become when @ashcanpress.com takes over TMNT. What an incredible casting of talent. This book is going to be awesome

“Every Wednesday is another chance” Prime Time proved to be the best arc of @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social ‘s run so far. Incredibly fun and emotional finale about how hard it is to be redeemed. Josh, Dan, and Alejandro killed it. Im so bummed Dan and Prime are leaving but this was a perfect sendoff

Pretty awesome mail day with the final volume of @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social ‘s Flash run and the second half of Dan Jurgens amazing Action Comics run!

Revisiting one of my all time favorite comic runs The Flash from the incredible @joshuawilliamson.bsky.social Volume 3 hits stores tomorrow and 🤞my copy gets delivered tomorrow

The way those DC solicits are going to hit on friday:

Dan Jurgens is one of the most influential Superman writers of all time. Even his modern Superman stories are amazing. I read Booster Shot over the weekend and was blown away

Genuinely, this is the best book Nightwing has ever had. @danpgwatters.bsky.social is doing the best writing of his career and Denys Cowan is PHENOMENAL on art. The tension in every issue is so well done. We’re putting Dick Grayson through the wringer and I love it

That matttt video about ed brubaker inspired me to pickup my first criminal book and I’m blown away. One of the best comics I’ve ever read in my life. If you have any other Criminal or brubaker recommendations please let me know!

I wasn’t really fan of Avengers Armageddon #1 but #2 was a lot better. I really like the way Tony is written here and this is pretty solid for a summer event

Ya’ll, the printing on this one is impeccable. Im so happy with how it looks in person.

I loved this chat

Not to be too much of a fanboy but @davidharper.bsky.social and @sktchd.bsky.social are on a tear lately. Between INCREDIBLE off panel guests, the INCREDIBLE Nick Dragotta piece! And the gem that is Chip Chats www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGP0... helps me get my Chip fix in. Check it out!!

My sense of humor is Chip Zdarsky

We're less than two weeks out from #SDCC. We asked the professionals & they gave us 46 Tips & Tricks to Surviving San Diego Comic-Con. www.comicbookcouplescounseling.com/post/survivi...

Caught up on Absolute Wonder Woman this morning. A masterpiece of comic book storytelling. Kelly Thompson really builds the tension in these issues and is it possible for Hayden to not put out an 11/10 issue? Omg
