Not into sports at all myself but I do love it dearly when a canid furry is big into sports. Like oh, you love to watch the ball go? The ball to be thrown and caught and for people to chase each other for the ball? For people to have packmates who compete against other packs? I'm sure you do...

it's mindblowing that this is a new revelation for people. i've never touched ai and was able to figure this out immediately when people started using it. shitty code is really really easy to write. same way shitty prose is really really easy to write.

at least shitty code written by a human accomplishes something. the experience of writing and maintaining it teaches them why not to do it that way. same cannot be said for ai, which can't experience anything, it just completes the prompt.

it's super telling that the "problem for democracy" yglesias sees is not the techno-fascists interfering in foreign elections, or the widespread election interference by local fash, but that people care about fascism being defeated. almost like he cares more about the fascist project than democracy

I just think Matt's wrong about this. We're at a point in our technological development where a ton of problems spill over national borders--if Flavio Bolsonaro burns down the Amazon, that will flood houses in Miami.

it's such a minor thing but it's so nice to be able to take a shower without being in pain after

i still wonder if part of the reason i healed so quickly is that my body was actively rejecting the tissue that was removed. i guess if my bloodwork today shows less platelets than last time it would support that.

Sequoia the spotted skunk is finished! So so pleased with how this suit turned out, they were by far my most involved project yet. From the markings, to the unique paws, wired hair, and the star of the show; the BIG upright skunk tail... it was a ton of work that absolutely paid off 🩶🦨🩶
