I finally had a chance to listen to this episode - it was so interesting! There’s a lot I didn’t know about NYC in the ‘60s & ‘70s. It was a far cry from my childhood on a farm in Minnesota at that time.

The level of anger normal Minnesota people have at their elected representatives is palpable. It's not about party, but the perceived failure of local/state electeds to do anything of substance to protect residents who pay their taxes and get left facing off alone against masked, armed men.

If you want to spend the rest of this year venting about Dems who have disappointed you, fine. I have felt disappointment with many of them, too. But folks, there's a REAL enemy out there, and I prefer to fight the people who LITERALY caused all of this shit rather than fight among ourselves.
