Alternatively, does anyone know if there are any godot editor alternatives? Godot itself is awesome, but the editor just doesn't jive with me.

Does anyone have a good workflow for godot that doesn't use the actual godot editor? Especially for neovim? I honestly just want to write nothing but code, run a game, maybe run some commands. Something more unix-esque. There seem to be a few plugins out there but they seem vibe coded.

So you can get banned from bluesky for reposting someone elses post if the alt text on their image goes against policy. So yeah, never reposting anything again. Fuckass platform. Pretty sure it was flagged by AI too because the text was about spongebob apparently.

PSA: good cooling solutions and power protection cost much less than replacing pc components. Get on that shit.

Every time i read something on bluesky and go "that's a dogshit take" it's a furry every single time smh

Kernel level anticheat is federal malware

A bit of tin foil hatting real quick: You know how mossad created stuxnet to propagate errors throughout irans nuclear facilities' computers and it caused massive damage? Linux using AI to track down vulnerabilities and bugs and then fix them feels the same

godot 4.8 exposed mesh buffers to gpu compute. all sorts of cool procedural shit is possible now

Was using proxmox but realized I didnt really need it. Was shopping around all these techbro distros and frontends and decides to just do opensuse tumbleweed server. I made an excellent choice.

Homelab, self-hosted people, can you give me recs for a good docker frontend / store type app? Ive been doing plain docker compose for a year or so now and kinda wanna see what options thete are for point and click type service management

Sales pitch: android games that aren't dogshit microtransaction notification slop. Ie, real games

I almost hate the fact that drawing is soooooo difficult for me, but some how 3D modeling in blender just makes infinite sense.

Can I just say that I feel like most of my life was wasted by being mormon 😞

Its so weird how much I really hate UE5 cinematic graphics. There's no crunch to it. The finals actually does a really good job of using UE in a way that actually looks good instead of realism-slop

I wholeheartedly support this decision!!

Honestly sticking with neovim. The handling of the whole thing was a mess but they did make the merge which I genuinely didn't expect to happen. Hopefully the leadership changes or there's a fork but until then, my env is just to good to switch right now. I absolutely love the software itself.

Basically neovim happens to be perfect for me, and it also happens to be run by chuds. Smh

Wahhh Im gonna cave to pressure because our userbase is collapsing but im gonna pretend like everyone whos mad isnt a real neo(nazi)vim user wahhh *locked* Its apparently vital to the success of neovim to have a quote from a fascist saying "neovim looks cool in fullscreen"

At this point, I think the most straightforward way to manage an os project is to have a "nazis fuck off" header at the top

Jfc... I'm a full blow neovim cultist but this dhh stuff is fucked... Is it time to learn emacs?

Omarchy feels like fedslop. Is this a psyop?

Israeli court acquits Jewish settler who kicked Catholic nun in the head - https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israeli-court-acquits-jewish-settler-who-kicked-catholic-nun-head

The us is a genuine shithole at this point. Fuckin' boomers and magats.

Been thinking about my next phone upgrade and Im kind of realizing that I really don't need one... I have working cell phone, rarely am without wifi, don't really have many people to talk to, and I spend most of my time on laptop or other devices.

Its so funny seeing videos about chatgpt corporate speak because my profile for chatgpt is genuinely so funny and not corporate at all lol

Went to go update my vita apps on vitadb downloader since its been a while which led me to find out the mod community has largely been propped up by a fascist who got mad when the community pushed back on his statements about murdering immigrants. Bizarre.

Another weekly post warning the linux noobs to just stick to fedora, ubuntu, or opensuse. You dont need a distro that promises ease of use, you need a distro that has enterprise level support if things go wrong. Small distros are cool, but their promises mean little if the community is small.

Butcher Benjamin Netanyahu is telling Western media this war is to "free" Iran - but to Hebrew media he's discussing how to 'kill them all'

OSSOFF: So we entered this war on false pretenses. Sound familiar? Not the first time the United States has been dragged into a quagmire in the Middle East on false pretenses about weapons of mass destruction.

Welp, I tried to get my Invasion drums from GGD to work in convertwithmoss so that I could export them as a renoise instrument on linux, but nope, shits encrypted. Fuckers

Kontakt already is a buggy piece of shit on windows, and unfortunately its even worse on linux. If anyone has good recs for a good sample pack or drum kit vst for linux, let me know.

Linus Torvalds puts his foot down, tells anti-AI programmers to 'fork it' zdnet.com/article/linu... via @zdnet.bsky.social & @sjvn.bsky.social "#AI is a tool, just like other tools we use. And it's clearly a useful one." If you don't like it, you can fork #Linux or get out.

The Battle of Yaldabaoth by Infant Annihilator is really just a history of israel, epstein, and mossad in song format.

@bluefuture.bsky.social your messages and posts are disabled, but i do secure dual boot with win 10 and opensuse tumbleweed. Opensuse configured it for me automatically

Às vezes esqueço que falo português. Sou americano, mas se algum brasileiro curte tecnologia e videogames, me siga. Sigo de volta (faz mais de dez anos que não falo português, rs).

I completely agree with the socioeconomic concerns about AI, mostly related to the way capitalists are using it to continue to extract value out us, but jfc some of you are completely uniformed on AI. Theres a difference between being class conscious and being completely uneducated

Im really enjoying this Mako launcher I found on fdroid. Besides google being evil, Im really getting back into android since its becoming so capable. Anyway, this launcher has a really nice simple presentation and looks retro while also still providing nice info.

I know everyone hates ai, but genuinely, if you're still not using linux or sticking with some software or os because you don't know how to do it, seriously just use ai and itll get you most of the way there.

Okay. For everyone who still needs windows, I need you to download windows 10 iot ltsc and find a certain "grave" so you can activate it
