My pal Danielle Koenig shared that her father Walter Koenig passed away last night at age 90. A performer whose kindness and warmth shone through the screen. He will be well remembered.

7/ #StarTrek #StarTrekSNW #StrangeNewWorlds Overall then, this has been a mixed season, hope that the next will have more serious episodes, and no more gimmicky ones. Those were fun, but with such short seasons, the ratio of quirky to serious episodes is really not good.

2/ #StarTrek #StarTrekSNW #StrangeNewWorlds Also felt that Pike referring to Pelia as Benny Russel was a bit distasteful. 'Far Beyond The Stars' of one of the franchise's most powerful episodes, with serious social commentary. Poking fun at it was unnecessary.

3/ #StarTrek #StarTrekSNW #StrangeNewWorlds That said, I think that it has set up an arc that will eventually lead to to the revelation of La'An's fate (and reason for not being seen in the 'in universe' future, and creative past episodes.
