I am looking forward to seeing a side-by-side comparison between the “deal” that Trump negotiates vs the JCPOA, negotiated by Obama, that Trump tore up.
This administration has given itself a 60 day clock to negotiate a new nuclear deal with Iran, something that requires time, thoughtfulness, and careful diplomacy. We have not seen that from this administration. 1/2

This is a little off topic but Andy Kim’s leadership is why we should not have term limits for congress. He’s sincere and it would be a shame to remove him bc of a term limit. What we need is real electoral competition. Then voters could vote out poor performers and keep good ones
I'm glad to see the Supreme Court standing up for reproductive health and freedom. We can't go backwards. This is only one part of the fight to protecting abortion access. We must continue to advocate for Americans' right to make decisions about their own bodies and healthcare.
Times are different now than in the 1790’s. Life expectancy is longer . People who spend decades in office insulated from the everyday life of regular citizens cannot effectively manage the law for the well being of those people. They’re out of touch.

How is it that white Catholic judges can strike down a law that was passed by Congress over 60 years ago bc they determined that the basis for the law no longer exists? Shouldn’t that be up to Congress?
This is yet another ruling that weakens voting rights for all Americans. The Voting Rights Act has suffered death by a thousand cuts. We must stand up in Congress to restore voting rights and ensure everyone's voice is heard in our elections.

In a democracy public officials must be accountable to the public. When public opinion suggests you’re going in the wrong direction, you must change course or…. If we allow him to co-opt our elections then we will have lost the right of self governance.

A trade deficit is a sign that we are wealthy and prosperous enough to buy things that are made somewhere else. Tariffs intend to make imported products more expensive to the U.S. consumer. How will that improve our standard of living?
Reminder: Tariffs aren't paid by other countries. They're eventually paid by us at the check out line. And they're regressive — taking a higher percentage out of the paychecks of working people than out of the wealthy.
